Starbucks has everything I love about my morning joe! I, just like everyone else that needs a cup of caffeine in the am. am happy to pop in the occasional k-pod and a touch of dairy but I've never made it taste as yummy as these folks. Go figure. So I found this frozen vanilla bean frappuccino thats just amazing by itself. Add in a triple shot of espresso and you have something too good to have more than once a week. Well after a year or so of ordering these delicious treats I started noticing they made the frozen part in the blender then added the shots, did another quick blend and finally poured it up. Great right? Wrong! After pouring it up they simply dump the remaining mouth watering goodies in the mop sink and wash it down the drain. How horrifying right? Yeah I thought so too. So I courageously asked the kind barista why would they toss out that little bit that is always left over in the blender? He said because it wouldn't fit in the cup! Now I start doing the math and if the frappuccino is 3$ and each shot is $1.75 each well were talking 7.25 for the whole ensemble. Take all that blended goodieness and fill the cup and there's always extra. That extra is being poured down the drain. So if I treat myself to 1 of these a week well you can do the math and you'll see that these kind folks are potentially pouring away possibly a whole shot! It's almost criminal. So after processing what happened in that moment I had a bit of clarity and said hey, how about blend the vanilla bean, milk and ice and put all that in the cup then pour the 3 shots on top of that and pass it to me as is that way I get all 3 shots and none of the espresso gets wasted. The kind barista says sir just ask for it affogato next time. Geez..... What a great idea! Who woulda thought of it? Probably someone else who had the same horrific experience of what I call the espresso dump. Hope this helps...
Read moreHorrible experience! Yelled at, accused of lying/theft, and threatened with police action. I called corporate and will escalate to the highest degree.
They got my drink order wrong twice at the drive-through. A drink was missed and the other was made wrong. I re-ordered the missed drink but was told I would have to come in to get it. The drink was not ready when my daughter went in. I come back in and don't see the drink on the counter. I let them know and the guy in charge proceeds to tell me he physically handed the drink to my daughter, but he'll make me a new one. I tell him, he did not hand a drink to my daughter. I even went to get my daughter (something he did not want me to do) so I could verify that he and I were talking about the same person. Instead of investigating the issue, he escalates it. We both ended up yelling, but they tried to gaslight me and play like I was irate for no reason. He was yelling and raising his voice the same as me - telling me I can go somewhere else, not letting me talk to someone else to explain and de-escalate, and threatening to call the police.I did not curse at him or threatened him in anyway.
I only began to get upset after he repeatedly tried to tell me he gave her the drink, even after she came back into the store. Of course, I'm offended. Wouldn't you be if someone repeatedly told you they gave you the drink you paid for and you did not have the drink? They were busy and things were falling through the cracks. If he would have double-checked, this all would have been avoided. For my part, I did not recognise the drink bc I expected an open top with whipped cream and sprinkles, like the other fraps we ordered. This one had one of the flatter tops, no whipped cream, no sprinkles. Not...
Read moreThis location used to be amazing. They’re usually busy and it’s typically best to order 10 mins ahead on mobile orders. Anything over 10 mins my order is always gross and watered down. Get in line 5 or 6 cars are ahead of me when I ordered. By time I get to the speaker it’s been 10 min. They can’t find my order. They finally find it so we pull around get to the window and they ask us to get back in line that is now wrapped around the building because it’s not ready. There are no parking spots either. The lady at the window was super sweet but I refuse. I’m either getting a refund or waiting right there for my drink I’m fine with either option it’s just coffee, but I’m not getting back in line. She gets who I’m assuming is a manager who says I should put my order in 20 min. Ahead and that I put the order in 2 min. ago when I have a time stamped receipt that says otherwise. Why would I pay $7 for a watered down coffee because it’s just been sitting there?? 10 min. is plenty of time especially when they had no issues making like 4 drinks and food for the car in front of me that ordered at the speaker when I had one drink. She gets a bit of an attitude and insists there’s one parking spot. I refuse and just want my refund which I finally get after arguing with her.
This store has been nothing but problems since they reopened. I don’t even care that it wasn’t ready but getting an attitude is not ok. I’d rather drive 30 mins to Snellville than go here again. Hope y’all fix...
