Chinatown — Restaurant in Loma Linda

The nice staff here are gone, at least for today. I came in over an hour before they close around 7:45pm. Once I came in one of the staff immediately wore a frown. I ordered the house special chicken which they (not her, the cook) have to make. Her frown turned into a smirk. She set my expectation that the wait time is 10min.

I went to the boba place to get a drink and when I came back my order was ready. I asked for the house special sauce and said they are out. Really? You did not even bother to tell me that the house special chicken has no special sauce! Guess what a house special chicken tastes like without the sayce? Worse than the stater bros chicken! It is very bland without that sauce!

I asked for a spoon as well because this meal came with rice. She kept organizing something over the counter as If she did not hear me and couldn’t see me standing there. So I had to ask again, and she just gave me the spoon. This time I was irritated that I did not even bother to say thank you.

What a delicious surprise! Left an appt in the area and had a taste for Chinese food. I happened to pass by this shopping center, saw this little spot & thought I'd try something simple like the teriyaki chicken bowl, since I wasn't familiar with their food. The 2 ladies behind the counter were cranking the orders out as the line grew behind me. Place looked very clean, even the areas whwre the ladies were putting the orders together. They constantly cleaned as they prepped. The quality of food was good with ample amounts and the cost was under $10 for this "packed" bowl of food. Definitely worth fluffing this spot as a "go to" for lunch, when I'm in the area. Atmosphere is not fancy, very small, simple...

Been a few times, but don't like that like the bean tofu on steam tray ( and probably the other tofu items ) are only made once per day. They will not make more. Which means when I go after work, at 6pm I'm getting something that's sat ALL DAY ( per the employee ) and they will not make fresh even if they are out. Have also tried beef and broccoli, orange chicken. Same as every other place. So I will go on my day off for the bean tofu because I've never seen anywhere else and i like it, fresh, but only on week days. Also menu is now 3plate combo...
