TL;DR: The pastries are delicious, but expensive, and the service experience leaves a lot to be desired. Picked up a few boxes of pastries for a celebration and was surprised when I arrived at opening and no pastries were set out. I was informed they were 'still baking' at 7:00am and that items would be ready closer to 7:20-30a. I questioned why would they open without product, but waited anyways. In line ahead of me was someone from a local medical center who ended up picking up a huge order, which nearly annihalated the products available, and even had some people in line behind me eventually just leave due to lack of product. Had a friend visit literally this week, and share that by 10:30a the entire shop was nearly sold out of everything. Kinda feels like this should be a place-the-order online and then come pick up later type establishment, as they inevitably run out of product quickly for those just 'walking in' - even if people are there first thing in the morning. And as others have mentioned, the service provided is confusing. There is a lot of 'rationale' on why things are the way they are, and seeming little recognition of how confusing it is to the customers. With ALL that said, the pastries are indeed delicious, delicate and a real treat, especially if you can get them warm. The standouts would be the jalapeno pastries and the basic croissants. They are delicious. And expensive. Is it worth a stop? Probably, but definitely call ahead (maybe a day ahead) and place an order if you have specific items you're hoping to get.

My first experience was not bad. The gentleman that helped me was friendly. I ordered 9 items (photo included). They were all delicious, although a little pricey. No problem. My 2nd experience is why I am giving this place a 1 star. I arrived maybe 30 minutes after opening on Friday morning, 09/19/25. I placed my order 8 croissants, and 1 pastry. The lady behind the counter ( light brown curly hair) was extremely rude. She told me that if I am going to place a large order I need to order ahead of time. She told me she should refuse my order but won't this time. She said she knew she was being rude but my order will mess up lunch orders. I should have walked out and canceled my order if I had not promised fresh croissants for a trip we were leaving on. Honestly I was a bit embarrassed and a little pissed. She went on to tell me that this was a quality item and to be considerate by ordering ahead next time. I wish I had said there wouldn't be a next time. The customer before me asked if he could get his ham sandwich warmed, she replied "if you want to ruin it." The pastries are yummy, but not worth the price when it comes with someone as rude at the lady that day. And the coffee is obviously not their thing, premade from a machine.

The pastries at this bakery have a nice flavor overall, but I was a bit disappointed with the level of doneness. My chocolate croissant today was quite dark, I am hoping they’re not familiar to a new oven and they’ll adjust. I also ordered a cappuccino, which arrived half full and quite bitter. I later realized it was made by a machine, which I hadn’t expected. While the atmosphere is pleasant and the baked goods have potential, I hope the team will consider baking the pastries for a slightly shorter time and reviewing their coffee preparation process. I look forward to seeing how they improve!
