Burnin Daylight Brewing Company — Restaurant in Lomita

What a great find! I’ve had this place in my bookmarks for a while now. Making the trip on Father’s Day was well worth it!

The staff, the owner, the entire atmosphere had a very warm, welcoming vibe to it. With plenty of indoor, sidewalk patio, and rear patio seating, we didn’t have a hard time finding a seat at all. The place was full but didn’t feel crowded whatsoever. It was great to see a local establishment up and running given the past year or so we’ve all had.

First the beer, I had the “Narblonde” Pale Ale and my gf had the “Brewtiful” Blueberry Ale. Both were great and went down so nicely on a warm sunny Sunday.

We both got burgers and Lemon Pepper wings to share. The wings were perfect, great flavor and a nice crispiness. My burger was the “Burnin Burger” and I must say it was one of the best tender burgers I’ve ever eaten. My gf got the “Stank Burger”, and she too stated it was one of the best she has ever had. Mentioning many times that the Jalapeno’s seemed and tasted so fresh!

Parking was simple, street and lot...

Visited the brewery last week and thought the staff/ service was good, friendly, helpful... thought the beer selection was broad and should meet anyone's preference. We tried 3 or 4 different types and liked them all. The seating was good, it wasn't too loud so you can have a conversation. The negative was the food. Really expensive for the quality and quantity. I had the brats/sausage and the sausage was overcooked, dry and only filled about 2/3rds of the bun....and it was $9. My friend had the taco special and it was 3 small street tacos with some chips for $8. Those same tacos are $1.50 each on any food truck and they would taste a lot better. Sorry, go for the beer and you've been warned if you order food. Also, don't park behind the brewery, those spaces are for the apartments...

A truly incredible place to drink and eat. The beers are amazing... but I'd be lying if I said I didn't keep going for the food. Unreal how good their burgers and fries are. Just stupid good. The smashburger makes shake shack look like a gas station and their French fries are literally in-n-out fries but so, so much better. Wings are amazing. The tacos are solid. Just insanely good and I crave their food non stop haha.

The service is exemplary and everyone that works here is so nice and chill. Just a perfect little brewery that I cannot stop thinking about. I live almost an hour away and I've made a point to come out here so many times since my first trip.
