Came here to try out their boba after coming across an instagram ad. Ordered taro smoothie with bursting boba in chocolate covered cup, popcorn chicken, fried dumplings, and teriyaki. First on the list, Taro Smoothie, it was smooth and taste was great. Compared to other places I go for taro this by far, took place number 1, making "its boba time" second. The taro smoothie itself was great the strawberry bursting boba didn't have that flavor, hardly taste the syrup from boba like other locations. Will order next time just taro smoothie without the strawberry bursting boba. The chocolate cup itself isn't too sweet so it's just right with any drink you choose. Popcorn chicken was great as well taste and texture. Fried dumplings had great taste and crisp. Teriyaki bowl had a nice presentation in the bowl organized well. Other than that, the teryaki chicken the taste wasn't there even with teryaki sauce and it had tendon fat. The macaroni is great and salad as well, just not the teryaki. Finally, I wanted to mention that I'm not sure if it was just today since it was my first time trying to order online, but the website online option didn't allow me to make an order. Had numerous errors come up with different cards, I even tried using sisters' apple pay, but error popped up as well. The store itself is nice to eat there and stay a while. They do have public wifi so that's a plus. The only problem I had was teryaki bowl with tendon fat and error showing up while trying to make online order. Will come again in future for their taro smoothie it has a smooth...
Read moreThis is a review for their advertised Dubai chocolate dessert. This joint is a combo of La Cha and The Bowl, and you can order either on the kiosks.
Parking was plentiful in their lot. Inside they have two ordering kiosks before you get to the cashier. At the time of my visit, one of them wasn't working/accepting credit card payments. Their menu is so extensive, and you can substitute/customize pretty much anything.
I got the Dubai strawberry cup, which was so disappointing! It was over $10 and hardly enough to share. The pistachio cream/sauce barely had flavor because the chocolate was so overpowering.
I also wanted to try the viral "crack cup", which is the choco cup menu. The choco cup banana shake is the most popular, but I got the matcha one for some caffeine. Cracking the cup was fun, but the drink tasted ok. You would get chocolate bits through the straw.
I came here for the novelty of the desserts. There. I tried it. I didn't enjoy it. I don't need...

For drinks, we tried the Thai milk tea, Oreo matcha milk tea, and Caramel cheese latte that has freshly grated caramel cheese on top! Forget Olive Garden, we’ve got La Cha! 😆
But we came here for one drink and one drink only, the Matcha blended from their Choco cup series. I saw this video playing on their tablet and I was like I need this in my life! If you’re a chocolate lover, you’re gonna have so much fun crunching the chocolate with your hands.
They offer food here too like your must-haves, popcorn chicken, fried dumplings, and Parmesan garlic French fries. But what really blew me away is their specialty called The Bowl. Sounds simple, but this is like elevated Flame Broiler and I couldn’t stop raving about this to everyone!! Love the touch of pineapple on it too :)
You can get beef or chicken teriyaki, or chicken katsu with more choices to come.
Thanks for...
