⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Outstanding!

Just had the most incredible fish and chips experience at Alfie's in Lompoc! This place is a true gem that serves up authentic, no-nonsense fish and chips the way they should be made.

The fish was absolutely perfect - fresh, flaky, and coated in the most beautifully crispy golden batter I've ever seen. You can tell they use quality fish, not the frozen stuff you get at chain places. The chips were equally impressive - properly cut, fluffy inside with that perfect crispy exterior, and seasoned just right.

What really sets Alfie's apart is the authenticity. This isn't some fancy fusion place trying to reinvent the wheel - it's honest, traditional fish and chips done to perfection. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the staff clearly takes pride in what they're serving.

Alrighty then. Business brought me from the east coast to central coastal California today. Lompoc is the city I am in and I will tell you folks back in Florida, I flew here in 4:50 minutes from JAX to LAX and then it took me 5 hours to drive 148 miles. Not a wreck in sight.

I am never going to complain again about a rubber necker back home again.😀

First, you must have the fish, it will make you feel like your in old London or in New England and please take my word for it and try the “Cucumber Wasabi Coleslaw “

This place was A step above the routine best fried fish restaurant. I always tended to get the fish and chips with the crispin's on the side... Maybe not that healthy, but I don't go every day to get them, and with malt vinegar, along with the, always hot and fresh cooked fish they are delish! I would recommend eating in while it's hot, and , like I did, not having the different condiments you'd like to try on your fish or any other of the variety of different seafood dishes, which I really want to try, but what can I say, I love their fish. The fish there has always tasted very fresh... And The Price is Right too, and there's always been service with a smile. The bathrooms do you need some tending to though at least the men's restroom dead on the days I was in there... Other than that good job. You definitely have it...
