PJ's Deli — Restaurant in Lompoc

I've been eating at PJ's for over 4 years now and have never been disappointed by anything I have ever eaten there. The sandwiches are amazing. They have this thinly sliced tri tip that they smoke out back it melts in your mouth. I love my turkey with just light dressing with sharp cheese and lots of lettuce and tomato on Fresh whole wheat bread. The aim to please there at PJs, and they've been family owned and operated for plus 30 years. And that means a lot in today's economy and attitudes about family. You walk in and you're greeted by Daveed or Angela, Owner, operater with a smile and Hello!!😃. they know your name and usually your sandwich by the 3rd or 4th time you've eaten there. Awesome spot!!!! I loved it! I’m the guy who ordered the Lieutenant today, told you guys I was out of town and swinging by since I was at work and had to stop due to my hunger. The guy at the dispensary who rec’d me to you guys wasn’t kidding when he said this spot was bomb!

The portion was a little smaller than what I expected but that’s a good thing because I always feel like big sandwiches don’t always mean it’s packed with flavor.

Parking was kinda tight but I came in at a perfect time since it was probably around 11:45am or 12:00 noon’ish

The girl who helped me out on my order was so kind and beautiful too!

You guys make the best Italian sub just like the old days. You bring back nostalgia through food. The capicola Italian with oil and pepper and on and on and on all the good stuff of course ,we call it the works. Because it works. Also you make the best veggie sandwich on White bread. If anybody is interested in that wait till they see what's on it. Everything,may I add, and then when you finished putting all the veggies and cheese on and sprouts, avocado throw on some roast beef and pastrami .They go wait a minute what happened to the veggie so it's still a veggie is just got a lot of meat on it too!what a sandwich!!!
