If I could rate a 0, I probably would. Honestly the rudest workers I have ever met. My boyfriend and I were out on a snowy morning looking for some breakfast, and saw the diner. We drove over what looked like the driveway to park, since it had been plowed. When we got out of the car, a lady working here said that was the lawn, and next time to use the driveway. My boyfriend and I apologized and explained you know we have not been here before, we didn’t know, and it looked like the driveway. So we continued inside, and sat down at the counter. A couple minutes later the same lady came inside, and start complaining to the other workers there about how people keep driving over the lawn, and that she thinks we do it on purpose. Right in front of us, after we apologized, as we did not know. So my boyfriend speaks up And explains to everyone listening to her, and explains why we did it. How maybe they shouldn’t plow the lawn, it’s confusing in the snowstorm. That did not stop them from continuing. At this point, I wanted to leave but my boyfriend wanted food, so we stayed. Well, they put the food in front of us behind the counter without calling out the order for about five minutes once it was done, I’m assuming because we drove over the lawn. And to boot, the food was not good, even for the type of place it was. A dollar up charge is not worth a bagel for a breakfast sandwich by the way, as it was more of a mini bagel. Disappointed and will not be returning...ever. I do not recommend. There are many better places in the area if you...

I’m so sad to write this but we did not enjoy this experience. The restaurant is dirty, the carpeting is really really filthy, and everything is just old and very tired. When you go to the restroom (which is in need of attention) you are met by two very angry notes about how your mother does not work here and clean up after yourself or you’ll lose the PRIVILEGE of the restroom. It was awful and just sets a terrible tone. We ordered pretty standard eggs and potatoes and toast, I’m a vegetarian and everything I ate tasted of meat like maybe the grill isn’t cleaned enough, I don’t know. I’m pretty sure I had a piece of meat under my eggs, ugh. It was something brown and unidentifiable. There are help wanted signs in multiple places and I think everyone must be tired and overworked. Our server lady was lovely though I think she needed some help. We totally regret eating...

A little gem on the main road for Londonderry VT. You won't be disappointed. Very kind and helpful, accommodating staff [owners I assume]. A family run business? The BBQ homemade* super good!* Not sure what to order? Sit at the counter and the cook behind the counter will help you choose by giving you a sample! Helpful and sold me on it. Honest about the products, but also, they kick it up a notch and make it there own. Lexi who also works here is bubbly and a great energy to have in the diner and atmosphere! " broken crayons still color" was a beautiful message to read, love those! ❤️ Keep it up team! You're doing a great thing here! We will be...

It’s the only game in town, right? The Maple Leaf can be interesting when it gets crowded. The ladies get a little cranky, but they push the dishes through. I went today during a very slow lunch service. No reason to be cranky, and yet… The menu is classic diner fare. Most of the dishes I have had were good enough. Excellent French fries. Today’s special was a patty melt. Yes, please! Unfortunately, this was a healthy patty melt. What? Raw onions, well-done (not well prepared) burger patty on toasted rye. Sorry, a patty melt is supposed to be a greasy grilled mess. We don’t have to eat one every day. And, we can enjoy and survive that. Not here. Sigh.

Locals and out-of-town visitors are warmly welcomed entering the Maple Leaf Diner. Like any good New England diner, the Maple Leaf is a stage for political and philosophical reflection. Conscientious yankees deep in consideration of conscience. At booths and benches, our comédie humaine with its distinct morals, manners, and customs transpires daily. You can’t beat pancakes with local maple syrup. Mike’s special and the eggs benedict will fill you up. A cup of Mike’s hearty chicken soup is something special if it’s available. You might find joy or enlightenment if you listen carefully enough to hear the flowing West River between sips of coffee.
