The Garden Market & Deli — Restaurant in Londonderry

Let’s start off with I appear very New York but I actually have a residence one town over and grew up here,so maybe that’s why she committed highway robbery.NINETEEN DOLLARS and FOURTY THREE cents for a chicken salad on a croissant w cheese 😑 I now live in the upper west side & it appears she thinks she’s working at Peter Lugers bc even in a Manhattan steakhouse would these prices be outlandish 😐 the prices aren’t comprable to a single store anywhere around southern Vermont. Sandwiches from any Local country store are typically 4-7$ maybe $11 at a specialty place but lmao half a block of cheese was slathered on vinegary chicken salad (which gave not fresh) with a croissant. Subpar at best. Nice workers that included gratuity to any sandwich made.Plenty of parking. Can’t wait to...

We were driving home New Years Day, (hangry), trying to find a “delli/sandwichs to-go”….just happened to find this place….one word, AMAZING!!!! My husband and friend had “Mickey’s Favorite” and I had the “Patè Sandwich”, and our 5yr old had the “Blackforest Ham and Cheese”, there wasn’t a crumb left! The breads were so fresh, the products/market are devine, (bought the honeys, and ginger-honey is off the hook!)! And the service, a tiny wait, but then a gain, we were “hangry”, was so warm, inviting and just down right lovely! We’re from Connecticut and are planning a road trip to go back again just for the sandwiches!!!! Thank you!!!!!!

Apparently we walked in around closing time for deli. we were clearly looking at the menu and the lady said to us “we are closing deli soon” Not hi, how can I help you. Strike 1. She then asked us if we were ready to order as she tapped her hand as if to say, hurry up! Strike 2. I was so put off by the gestures , we just walked out. I’m sure the food is great but these folks need to understand the “VALUE “ of customer service. I can’t tolerate poor customer service. They should read their google reviews and respond.
