WARNINGWARNINGWARNING*AVOID THIS LOCATION I can't even begin to express my frustration and disgust with this particular franchise location Employees/Customer Service since relocating to LB. I've been biting my tongue for 3 months thinking something would change but it just continues to get worse!!! My last 3 experiences calling this location is late evening approx between 10-11pm. 1 of my last 3 calls to this location: I called and began to place a order and was told they did not have TWO out of the 3 items I wanted to order? REALLY?? The pattern continues to prove my theory that the employees/and or manager just don't give _f@** and are just looking to close up shop ASAP and to avoid doing what they are PAID to do which is answer the phone take the customers order, make it, deliver it and collect the money. Sounds simple enough to me. So after I was told they didn't have the food I wanted in stock, I proceeded to call another Papa Johns in the area ( the location I will not reveal to protect them from violating franchise "rules). Told the guy I wanted to place a order and was told they could not deliver to me because I was out of their service area. I explained to the manager what happen with the 4th Street location and the first thing out of his mouth was...they said they were out of WHAT? How is that possible he said? He said to complain to corporate (which I did and I have still never heard back from ANYONE) he apologized but refused to place my order that evening. So another week or so goes by and I decide to give it another shot since I had a Craving that I can only full-fill with them..... The same girl just so happens to answers the phone .... the SAME scenario happens AGAIN she tells me they DON"T have it. So AGAIN I called the Papa Johns down the Street and just so happen to get the same manager I spoke to last time, I begged the guy to please deliver to me and I would pay the guy extra (which he politely agreed too)
Perhaps the Pizza monster comes by every night during the week at 10:30pm-11pm and steals all of their food so they can't take anymore orders? What happen to having a business that Closes it's doors when the last customer is served up to 11pm. That means you stop taking orders AFTER 11:01... That means you should be able to call at 10:45,46,47,48,49,50,51,52,53,54,55,56,57,58,59,11:00pm and still get be able to place an order. Since last time I recall when you work in a fast food restaurant or ANY public retail your still gonna have to spend the next 30 min to 1hr cleaning up, checking inventory and counting the drawer. Don't tell me your hours are 8-11pm if you stop taking orders at 10:30. So AGAIN I called late, this time 2 minutes till closing. A new girl answers the phone. I tell her I want to place an order and she says Oh we close at 11pm sorry. I said I called Before 11. She says well it's 11:01. I said I was on hold for the last two minutes listening to the damn specials they force you to hear before they answer. She starts to argue with me and then Hangs up!! I'm so sorry your pathetic life is working for 8 bucks an hour taking pizza orders but I have done worse jobs in my life and still do it with a smile on my face and I still respect my employers customers with respect and if I thought I might fly off the lid...I do what's right and pass the phone off to the MANAGER to handle. And if your the manager and can't handle a simple frustrated customer then maybe you need to start looking for a new job QUICK!! I HATE AND DESPISE THE EMPLOYEES/SERVICE FOR THIS LOCATION. AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT QUALITY...
Read moreI literally just got hung up on. Exact words "Papa Johns Pizza, we're closed" click. I completely understand were on curfew, and I did not realize what time it was however. Why pick up the phone if the associate was only going to hang up on my face. By far the rudest encounter I've had while calling a place of business. Have a recorded message, let the phone rings, I dotn know. But there has to be a more professional way to deal with late callers like myself. Why bother picking up? Read moreThis is by far the single worst pizza store in Long Beach. Delivery takes more than an hour, the food is cold, and the order is marked as delivered before is arrives at the house so you really have no way of knowing if, or when it will arrive. Calling the shop doesn’t help because those that answer the phone there don’t care where your order is. There is never a manager on duty, I’ve been told the manager is only there in the mornings. How has the Papa Johns franchise not shut this store down yet? I guess I’m the idiot that keeps ordering from them, this is the last time...
