So I was there last night, 03/01/25, to pickup an Uber Eats order. Waited in line so long, that I got a request for a second order just as I got to the register.
At first, the tall lady told me she had the 2nd order (1 pizza) but not the first order which makes absolutely no sense. She told me that 1 of the 2 pizzas from my first order was ready (2 pizzas and a salad). Because of the mass confusion I witnessed with the customers before me in line, I asked her to please check the food warmer for my order. It didn't make sense that only 1 of the 2 pizzas was made. She glanced in the warmer and said it wasn't there.
She asked the back for the order and they told her they had already gave it to her. She ended up yelling to the back to make another of the missing pizza. I reminded her that I had a salad with my order, she just brushed me off and said that she knows, she can read the order on the register. There's an upright fridge right behind the cashier and I didn't see any salads in there.
Now, I've been here 30 minutes waiting for orders that should have been ready by the time I arrived. I asked the other lady for the status of my order (so many pizzas were being given to them from the back and stacking up on the ledge). The 2nd lady opens the warmer and immediately finds my 1st order. It was freaking there the whole time and I wasted 30 minutes there!
Now, I have the 2 pizzas and no salad. I can't leave because the full order wasn't ready. The front of the house only asks the back of the house to make the salads when they would find the pizzas. 🤦♀️
The back of the house is on point. The issue that needs a lot of attention is the front of the house. From my observation, I hope the owner or manager could do the following:
Clear out the cluttered front counters. It leaves no space for staff to stage/pass out orders. Do not have the front house staff keep opening all of the pizza boxes to see what's in them. That makes the food cold and customers will blame us, the drivers for the food temp. Since it was so unorganized, have the back of the house write the order # on the visible edge of the box. No need to continously open the boxes. Don't have the front of the house packaging the condiments (ranch) while you have customers in the front. Have the back of the house do that and have a certain amount packed and in the front fridge every day for easy grab & go. Move the register to the left. That way, clearly order on the leftside of the counter and pick-up orders only on the right. Learn how to organize your tickets...

On top of that they are now charging a "service fee". Absolutely ridiculous!
Also, they changed their POS system without telling their customers, so all the rewards points I had are gone.
Such a shame : ( I even updated my original review recently too.
Second Review: I have updated my review because Little Coyote has stepped it up. They have seemed to become more organized with their operations and the pizza is delicious! (just make sure it's not burnt). The white pie is my favorite and it's always so flavorful and pairs well with their ranch! Once in awhile, we get the Italiano which is always super tasty.
The one thing I think they can improve on is sending the texts when the order is ready, they are not super consistent with that. Also, just overall quality control. There have been a few times where my pizza has been burnt.
Other than that, I think they have definitely improved!
Old review:
"I came here the other weekend and man, it might of been my last time going. I got a text saying that my pizza was ready (an hour after I ordered) and I walked in to a long line. The girl ringing people up was new so I gave her the benefit of the doubt but everything just seemed so unorganized and she was flustered. There were a lot of people waiting and complaining about the wait time. I finally made my way up to the register and I asked for my order, she gave me the box from the heater and I looked to see if my dips were in the box, they were missing. So I asked for them, and I was given one sauce (my chili oil) & I had to ask again for my ranch. The employees seemed super scattered, looking for ranch. And then one of them tells the cashier, "just tell them we're out of ranch". That was wild to me, like how?! She told me they were out, without even offering to make it right. I had to ask for my refund for the ranch (yeah, it's a dollar, but it's the principle). This use to be my favorite pizza spot, now it's gone extremely downhill..long wait times, the new staff seems completely unorganized, and the pizza isn't the same. The crust has become extremely floppy, it's lost its crisp. This is so sad to write out cause I was hoping this wouldn't happen. However, with the new ownership, I'm not sure what went wrong.
P.S. And don't fall for these extremely obvious...
Read moreI REALLY wish I could leave a 0 star review. We were greeted by Travis. Who was initially very friendly. Though the wait seemed a bit extreme (45 minutes for one pizza), we decided we were willing to wait (as the reviews for pizza were great- not service). I approached the ordering counter with the order, but due to the lack of hospitality, we were unable to even order a pizza. You would think, that if you specialize in only one thing, that it would be done so well and that a simple request would be met. Sadly, we were unable to be accommodated because they were unwilling to substitute one sauce for another- really? A sauce? We were not asking for something that was not on the menu or something that was unavailable. We were asking for white sauce on a pizza instead of red sauce and not only were we met with not being accommodated, we were met with an intense attitude from the owner. The “I get to be the boss” attitude. That he has enough customers to keep him afloat. What’s funny though, is that at 6pm, I heard the chef count out that he had only 14 pizzas left, as I was attempting to order. 😳 This owner is clearly someone that has no idea how to project sales or inventory for a weekend evening. We ended up at a neighboring restaurant and as we left, he had said some sort of sarcastic remark. How professional. I truly hope that people read this review and decide to not go here. Not only was the team- Travis, order taker and owner extremely rude, but they were UNWILLING to accommodate a customer with a very simple request. On top of that, a rude remark as we left their neighboring restaurant. I don’t care how good the pizza is, if the OWNER of an establishment is rude or unhospitable to their guests (within reason- and we were definitely within reason), they do not deserve ANY business. We ALWAYS want to eat local and support local, but honestly, this place is not worth the hype if you’re looking for just some simple...
