A five star sports bar and grill in Long Beach? What?
For the sake of all honesty I should be giving this place four stars because of decor not being 5 stars, but the attentive staff, the amazing food and the cold beers demand all five.
Food - Items include calamari, wings, chicken tenders, burgers, potato skins, steak fries, nachos and the like. All of it tastes great, uses fresh ingredients and food recipes. Plus it is served pretty darn quick.
Beer - Lots of suds on tap and pretty much all good. Usual suspects like Coors Light and Bud Light, plus micro stuff that gets into ports, IPAs, pale ales, etc.
People - Both your fellow patrons and the staff are great. Expect to see upbeat cats on both sides of the bar top. Service was very attentive.
TVs - Dozens of big screens located all over this place. Enough so that your game can be found here. They also have a menu section just for opening - 5pm on Saturday and Sunday with special items and rock bottom prices. (note to manager, one TV on the East side of the bar is set to 4:3 ratio with an HDTV signal. Use Insignia TV remote, menu, settings, video, aspect ratio, and change to 16:9)
Liquors - Expect to find a decent selection of well and premium drinks. And guess what? They taste like they are supposed to taste!
Decor - The bar appears to have had a recent makeover. So it looks pretty darn spicy. It is a horse shoe with a center cutout. So you can see the other half of the bar through the cutout.
As you move away from the bar, though, things go from Cheers to The Munsters. Meaning super kinky to kind of half-hazard. So getting a seat at the bar feels special - the far corners, though, not so much.
Overall - This is a gem for Long Beach. We had just disembarked from a long fishing trip and wanted something special to fill our bellies and our souls. This place was worth the extra drive from the ports to watch our respective, and beloved college football teams.
Next Sunday we will try their Upland location for Sunday football. Hopefully it will be as...
Read moreIt has been a long time since I walked I to a sportsbar and was blown away by the service and the food! This place is now on my must do list.
From the moment we walked in, and this place was packed, Hayley took care of us and made us feel instantly welcome and happy we were here.
Dakota brought it with the positive and friendly energy. He also brought all the great food to us.
Had some standard bar food - wings which were delicious. Cooked just right with the perfect ratio of sauce. Tater Tots were delicious and the wedge salad was on point on every level. Also ordered Carne asada nachos with fries. BOMB.
Many thanks to Angel for the delicious food and po Ross to Bray. Everyone employed here has a great vibe!

Read moreFriends and I came here for our first friday happy hour event. The staff were super nice and attentive. There are lots of TVS all around for sports action and a pool table as well. Pat the owner is super sweet and talented. He shared his story of how he got the place together. The man even built half of the bar himself!
I didn't plan on getting food here as I try to stay away from bar food but when I saw another party ordered the tri-tip dinner I had to get it. It was SO good! I didn't expect this in a sports bar . The tri-tip was amazingly tender!
Roundin' 3rd doesn't have a full bar at the moment as the license is still in process. They do offer beer, wine, and some delicious...
