a fine stadium to take in a ballgame. lively atmosphere in a small-town setting - made all the more impressive given that it's amateur (college) baseball.

first two rows of seating are “luxury” box seats (which come with wait service). the reserved seats in the green sections provide individual major league stadium style folding seats, which are perfectly fine. general admission is everything else, which offers little more than long metal benches, first come first served. seats along third base line (near home team dugout) are better if you want afternoon sun. seats closer to home plate offer protection from northern and easterly winds. to that end, reserved seats in section 103 or 105 are both good.

definitely a small town vibe, with lots of banter from a very diverse crowd, where everyone seems to know every one else. such charms include the many loyal dirtbags supporters, often in full colors, together with the regulars and old-timers in the stands, all mixing it up with cal state students, local high schoolers, parents of the players and those looking to re-discover a bit of the romance for old school baseball. the in-house organist adds to a frenzied vibe, competing with a sound system that's blaring walk-up music and cheesy special effects as well as the in-between innings entertainment that all serve to keep things lively. an occasional drunk shouting garden variety obscenities from the nosebleeds adds a last bit of spice.

concessions are found by the entrance, and overall, they're OK - somewhere between "meh" and "not bad." a tad pricey and no vegetarian options as of april 2023 - so there’s room for improvement (or a business opportunity) but who can complain when there's popcorn and peanuts to go with a game under the lights? and we were pleasantly surprised by the beer options. there are pop-up vendors as well. when we went, we had date shakes that were quite tasty. would...

Great baseball field and amenities for Ling Beach state games impressive player billboard, looks like a professional stadium billboard. They do need tobrepairvsomecrusr showing on the floors. Great seats all around and great fun for the family that wants to see a fun game without paying pro baseball prices. The LB state baseball team are really good players and games are quite exciting and your close up. You can typically buy tickets there nonl problem, butvasvancevpurchases are recommended to get the seats and number of group seats you want if you want to sit altogether with friends or family. I highly recommend seeing a game there. Plenty of parking with...

Watched the Dirtbags lose to UCLA in extra innings on April 4th. I was surprised at all the choices of food and beverages. There's even a Legends stand...I had the pulled pork sandwich which is always good. Of course, the prices are way too high, including the regular concession stand...$8 for a churro! Blair field is a Long Beach icon and a great venue for...

It is an excellent field. Most of the seats are bench seats and not terribly comfortable. The fence is 335 feet deep at the left and right foul lines but 395 at center field.
