Sadie and Josie's Bakery — Restaurant in Long Beach

I don't know what the atmosphere for the store is because I never been to it. But the store was handing out bread to everyone in the band who was in the parade at Long Beach today. Tossed out loaves of bread into the crown. They even gave each of my kids free cookies 🍪. Well I wasn't able to get a good picture of the sourdough bread I got one of the cookies. All my kids loved them. The sourdough bread is amazing 🤤 it was eaten surprisingly quickly hence why I have no pictures... As we walked around town I heard all the band members commenting just how grateful they were for this delicious bread that was give it to them. I was fueling at the Chevron station and noticed Sadie and Josie's bakery for the first time. I love Dylan's Cottage bakery down town but stopped to check out Sadie and Josie's and very glad I did. I bought two packages of chocolate eclairs and some peppermint bark. The bark was great but the eclairs were the best I've ever had in my life. I just finished the last one three days after purchase and it's still soft and delicious. The filling is made there and isn't from a pail like other bakeries. Can't say enough about them. Their selection isn't as expansive as Dylan's and they seem to specialize...

Stopped here for the first time day before yesterday and am very glad I did! I was greeted warmly & the store was clean & adequately stocked with tons of options that looked tasty. Everything I picked up is absolutely divine. The cheese focaccio is delicious and I’ll admit I was skeptical but I love it! I also grabbed blueberry muffins (which are gone) & pumpkin spice loaf both of which were moist & flavorful. Will 100% be back for more treats; esp the focaccio!
