I came into purchase a sandwich, and upon the sandwich artist making my sandwich. There was a bug in the spinach, that they put in my sandwich, the employee tried to cover it up and act like he didn’t see it, and I had to ask is that a bug in my sandwich? He tried to just remove the spinach leaf that it came from and proceeded with creating my sandwich, I immediately requested for a whole new sandwich to be made, and he made it correctly, but I don’t remember him replacing the spinach that had that bug in it, also it’s just the principal, he wasn’t going to remove the bug had I not said anything. I wasn’t upset at first but now I’m very upset when I think about it! He didn’t offer me anything additional for the inconvenience! Today I called to speak to a manager, the woman that answered the phone, said the manager was not here today, and she asked what was a concerning. I explained briefly of the issue, and she told me to hold on and then got on the phone again, kind of changed her voice around and said she was the manager, and if she could help me, I asked for her name, but she said she did not want to disclose her name. She did not feel comfortable with that, so I said that was strange. How about if I come in store to discuss this issue, and she mentioned that she didn’t feel comfortable in person as well, usually managers disclose their first name at least, I could tell one of the employees was acting like a manager, but didn’t want to give information! I believe these employees don’t care about their customers! Fraudulently acting like a manager, and willing to give out food with an insect inside of it! I don’t think I’ll ever be returning to...
Read moreSometimes you can't figure out what is different, but sometimes some places have it going on and sometimes they don't. This location is definitely NOT in the "have it" category.
Seems to take longer for anything (including paying at the cash register). One example is I always order a chicken breast that isn't toasted, so they put it in the microwave to heat the chicken (sometimes). When this is required, ANY other Subway will continue making the sandwich (you know, do you want mustard, lettuce, pickles?...etc), then put the hot chicken on everything when its done cooking....No...this location - and ONLY this location - will halt everything and engage you in conversation to pass the time until the chicken is done in the microwave! Seems to be a training thing too as this is done with like 3 different employees!
The last time they did this, the employee stops...and standing in front of the bread he just cut open with nothing on it yet then asks me, "So how is you're day going?" I replied by asking the employee if they could please continue making the sandwich as I was in a hurry. His answer? He tells me that he has to wait until the Chicken is done heating first....W T F !!
So I decided it was worth the 5 minute drive to just go to a different Subway from now on...I think the drive time cancels out the service delay at this location - but you can't put a price on the aggravation it...
Read moreCame here early in the morning to order breakfast. I ask the register lady ( manager with an attitude) if I can use the restroom and she told me she can not give me the key to the restroom. I really have to go. She finally the transaction with the customer and walk out of the counter. When she was about to open the restroom he then ask me if I am a customer. Mind you there is a sign on the restroom door that says " For customer use only". She is white as Donald Trump and I am a brown skin Pilipino. We ended up in a discussion and I cancelled my sandwich. She could have handed me the restroom key and told me to return it immediately soon as I opened the restroom. This location is very small and literally see the restroom from the register.
