With regard to the owners post, I must correct his comments. He himself gave me the amount of the refund. Do you honestly think I would take issue after only waiting 4 minutes like he claims? Not true at all. Produce the video! The original not the edited version. I did not disrespect any employee. To the contrary. The employee walked over from the grill and began speaking to me in a very unprofessional manner. Check your video. Invest in audio. What happened to customer service/relations? If they had a large call in order they were working on why not explain that to the waiting customer? Again customer relations. I made my point. Entitlement! Sad Tom Manzo

I want to share my terrible experience I had today at Bagel Guys Deli on Brighton ave in Long Branch. It was my first visit to the store since their relocation. At approximately 2:15 pm I entered the store and observed only two customers in the deli having salads. I ordered a simple tuna on a toasted bagel with tomato. At least 20 minutes later I found myself still waiting for the sandwich. Can you believe it?? I approached the counter and asked the young lady working what the status of the sandwich. She advised that the toaster was slow which caused the delay. One would think a new commerical eatery would be able to accommodate such an order timely. A slow toaster.....really? At the same time a very unprofessional employee working at the grill approached me and began defending the delay. I stopped him from speaking to me in his tone and asked the young lady for a refund. The owner Chris appeared and began scolding me for dismissing his employee. I emphatically advised him that his employee was disrespectful and at that point he gave me a refund and told me our conversation was over and didn't know why I was still in his store. Honestly, I was shocked at his lack of customer service. This young man has alot to learn about customer relations. He is the ultimate definition of entitlement. I will never again be a customer of Bagel Guys under any future circumstance. No customer should be treated so poorly and be subjected to what happened to me today. I see a tremendous amount of negative reviews about Bagel Guys on Google. Maybe Chris should rename his business from Bagel Guys Deli to Bagel "Boys" Deli because he has alot of growing up to do. food very good if you dontt mind rude workers. Young girl who wworks there has one heck of an attitude when asked simple polite questions, never going there again that was a joke. thought i coould pop in for a. quick sandwich to have everyone who ordered after me get there food first. ok whicch is fine but when i kindly ask where my food is i get told "must. have been gonee whhen we callled your order" no young lady i was standing right here yall let my food get cold and you haad a nasty attitude. obviously she wasn't ever taught how to speak to customers she's out here blaming customers for the lack of communication in the kitchen so ya no thanks to comin...

I have visited this establishment several times, and keep trying to give them another chance. Not sure why I torture myself. I will say that their Avacado sandwich is very good the time that it take to get it can range from 10-15 minutes even if your the only one in the store. Now onto the bagels, first time I had a bagel thought it was pretty good not great but decent. The last time I was there well I ordered a salt bagel with scallion cream cheese. When I got to work and opened the wrapper I found regular cream cheese not scallion. Fine oh well at least they both cost the same, but when I bit into the bagel it was beyond stale. Not sure if it was left over from the day before, but there was nothing fresh about it. Maybe that's why they are always asking if I want it toasted to give it some life. I really like having a bagel place right near me now if they could only...
