Niwot Pizza — Restaurant in Longmont

Service was fast and friendly, looked clean and straightforward in there. Advertising voted as best pizza out front. Yikes. Idk where all of these 5 star reviewers ate pizza before this, probably little Caesar’s or dominos? This is a sloppy, floppy crust mess of a slice. They sit inside a rotating slice holding machine that keeps them floppy and warm in the wrong ways. This is not what pizza is about. A pizza slice should have a crispy outer crust, and not collapse when you fold it. The only plus was that it had a lot of cheese on it. Barely a step above corporate pizza chains. Why would anyone go here with Rosalee’s and urban literally 10 mins south on the same street? Sorry guys, I wanted to like your pizza. I appreciate the quality takeout box. Completely unremarkable in just about every way. They have some really bizarre pizza choices like shrimp pizza? So we ordered a basic 'everything' pizza that was just kind of "meh." It all seems so low effort...

The crust looks and tastes like frozen corporate stuff that comes pre-made off the back of a Cisco truck. The toppings were okay but it's all just standard. The salad was very fresh though.

For two people we spent nearly $40. Next time we'll be going somewhere else or just buying a frozen grocery store pizza if we want that "Niwot pizza experience."

I was a long time Lefty’s patron (Niwot) and knew that the man that cooked for Craig for many years bought the place after his passing and ended up moving it up here. Somehow he improved on it. It was great! Friendly staff, clean and nice spot, and most importantly awesome pies! Highly recommend. Also, worth checking out the site when you’re ordering, he took amazing pics to show what each one looks like. I think he added a couple of signature pies with the new place. Great...
