Hart C's Steak Burger & Thai Food — Restaurant in Longview

For years I would have told you how amazing Heart Cs is. Today and the last time I ate there were beyond disappointing. Especially when you order to go. Live across town and your food is made incorrectly. To be fair my family has a gluten allergy. Up until the last two times we ate here this hasn’t been an issue. Food has always tasted great. I get that today (mother days) is exceptionally busy but I got home to rice mush? It was not good at all. Aside from that my mother placed an order just after mine and ended up eating someplace else because the wait was so long. Yes. We were told 30 minutes but as 50 minutes rolled around… I get being busy but I’m really upset the quality has gone. Used to be our families go to but not anymore. Unfortunately they were one of the better gluten free restaurants we had...

Well...This go around was a horrible experience. Salad rolls dry as heck. The dipping sauce wasn’t even the right type for the dish, it was made with peanut chunks fish sauce really liquid like nasty! The Pad Thai was over cooked noodles were mushy and it all looked pasty. The sweet sausage rice had no flavor an the rice was dry and hard, way overdone. The menu was all messed up the waitress said the boss just changed the menu and didn’t even correct the menu so we had to ask for help to verify if it was the correct item on the menu. Last part the table pretty much had all the food we ordered barely touched. Waitress came over ask if we wanted to go boxes my wife said no, she didn’t even bother to ask if anything was wrong with the food. Didn’t even get a sorry or let’s give you a...

We walked in, and the manager could only tear his eyes away from the golf on TV long enough to say "seat yourselves." There were chicken bones in my husband's pad thai, and despite us staring and trying to wave them down to get to-go boxes, the 3 people working stood clustered together, ignoring us while they had their phones out complaining about a personal problem. The photo is just that --even me catching the one girl's eye and waving at her wasn't enough to bring her over. I ended up just loudly asking them across the restaurant for boxes. The manager's personal problems became more and more public as his voice grew as patrons paid and left. The 1 star is for my food being amazing, but literally every other aspect of the experience being nothing more...
