I have to say I worked here for a few years putting myself through College when I was younger. So I get it and because of this I do not go to Sonic often. However I am still going to call this out.
I made an app order, went to pick it up, checked in then pushed the button to tell them to please not put like rinds in one of the drinks. The young guy quickly speaks a whole string of fast words then quickly cuts off the speaker stands connection. I did not catch one word he said and he never inquired what I even needed so I push the button again. I was ignored for almost fifteen minutes, even pushing the button twice more during that span. Once he finally comes to my vehicle, I enquired what he rapidly shot out at me explaining that I simply did not hear him and pushed the button again not only to ask him what he had said again but to also let him know I needed to request no lime rinds in the drink. His entire demeanor changes from snarky to apologetic as he offers to take my drink in and fix it. I ask him again what he said and his reply was that they were short staffed and he wanted me to go through the drive thru (with two cars on the whole lot during this time mind you!) I told him not to worry about it, no big deal but maybe next time give someone the benefit of the doubt before he jumps to conclusions. He seems guilty, I tip him, drive off only to find he had spit in my drink. This was night shift btw.
I went back a few days later during the day shift sure the crew would be different however I see him recognize me before he quickly looks away as he passes by. I still remember his name even though I will not be sharing it. He will have someone do worse things to him than his simple defiant act to someone who had not even wronged him first but I still thought you should all know what is in store for you too, should you happen to "bother him" by going to the place where he gets paid in exchange...
Read moreWell im not sure what started the issue today but im going to assume the order screens are not functioning well. Before i ordered carhop came by asking if i had a coke...nope just got here. So i ordered. Next thing i know i was being handed 4 lg drinks and 2 burgers....nope not mine. Then i get drinks and cheese sticks but no cheese tots. Ordered cheese tots small. Screen was correct during order but recipt said sm tot. So waiting on tots watching 2 carhops back and forth with wrong orders all over the place. Felt aweful 4 them another carhop brings me 4 chili cheese tots...nope not mine...then finally get cheese tots...mini cheese tots and my lg limeade was one tiny slice of lime i ordered lg limeade with extra lime thats .50 extra so i said can i have lime please i paid 4 extra...brings me 2 teeny tiny not exageration here super tiny limes to add to the other teeny tiny lime for my large extra lime limeade....they really need to sort out the issue there. The food taste just fine but it was total hectic mess and they are always busy so whoever is in charge...
Read moreThe person who took my order (Robert) cut me off while I was giving my order, numerous times, then told me to wait. Once I placed my order for a #1 Combo large size, and an order of cheddar peppers, the fries were completely forgotten somehow by Robert. When I asked for the fries, I was told I’d have to be charged again for the fries. This is lunch hour and people typically are in a hurry to get in and out due to their schedules. People don’t normally have time to wait on something they ordered while being charged again during lunch. The carhop (Coco) did an outstanding job and she does every time I come to this location. She’s very friendly and kind spoken, and always makes sure everything you need is taken care of. She gets FIVE STARS. But Robert will be the reason I eat elsewhere from now on.
