El Corral Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Longview

My two good friends and I ate here on July 16th 2025 and we will not be back. It started out by having this young lady who wore glasses being short and tempormental with one of my friends who had a broken foot and was in pain. She asked for some butter and the look she gave my friend was the go to hell look for sure. We got no refills. We sat and sat waiting for our check. I told one of three servers that the service wasnt very good and she proceeded to tell me that she saw the others come by our table. They offered no conclusion to my complaints and i told th young lady that i would not be back and she said ok as it were no concern. We've been hearing about this restaurant for a while so we had to try it for ourselves, and I'm so glad we did. I'm not really a margarita person but their flights look so beautiful and tasty, I had to get one and try it for myself. I ended up loving all of them and ordered two more regular size margaritas. Thursday they have really great drink specials, which we accidentally lucked out on. They have two dips that come with the chips a red and a green, I preferred the red because it was spicier. The menu has so many choices that at one point I was actually overwhelmed, but finally settled on the appetizer sampler which I'm glad I did because I got to have one of everything. A friend and I had a mom lunch here today. Alondra was our waitress and very kind! We both decided on the fried avocado. My friend chose beef fajita and I went all out and had the shrimp and chicken stuffed avocado topped with their creamy mushroom sauce. The meal comes with beans, rice, crunchy taco and one enchilada. I was very pleased with every bit of our meal! Over all clean environment, friendly service and thankfully not over filled with people causing a long wait like all others in Longview.
