Yimm's mexican restaurant — Restaurant in Longview

Food so good, I ate here for lunch and dinner on the same day! The quesabirria tacos, aguas frescas, rice and beans, and the service are all fantastic! I will definitely eat here again. My wife loved the food, too, and she has very discerning tastebuds, IYKWIM.

I don't write food reviews often anymore. I've found that paid reviews, reviews by bots, and/or reviews from friends, family, or foes can skew results, which can lead to suboptimal dining experiences OR missing out on really awesome food. I really don't care for reviews about delivered food, either, since the quality of the dining experience can be ruined by circumstances outside of the restaurant's control. All of that being said, Yimm's is a gem. I don't know anyone working there, I wasn't paid for this review, and have no ulterior motives for posting. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Bad customer service. I called to place an order & the girl told me to hold on a minute and then she hung up me. So I went up there through the drive through to place my order. The same girl came to the window and told me to hold on a minute and then just left me there looking stupid. So I went in to speak with the owner. The same girl came up to me and asked what I wanted and I told her I wanted to talk to the owner so she went to tell the owner and he told her to tell me that he wasn't there. I could see everything in the kitchen. I seen her talking to the owner. So I idk what their problem is with me but I will take my money elsewhere. So I came to Papa Gallo's on Green Street. When we walked in the girl was so nice and then I ordered 3 menudos to go I got to my destination and I realized I only had 2 menudos my fault for not checking my order before I left, well I called up there and they said I could come pick it up I realized it was on the other side of town so I called them a second time to see if I could just get a refund instead and before I could say anything I was on hold for 20minutes! When I got there the restaurant was dead and the girls were not busy at all!
