My husband and I dined in, Sunday around 1:30, not many people so it wasn't loud. I like that they have TV's all around with "different" channels not just sports (but no audio, there was low background music). The table was a little sticky on my husbands' side, he ordered a steak which was OK but bland, it was missing a little spices, not the heated but like salt and garlic (may be good for those who are on low salt diets), it came with a side of rice and red beans and tachinos/patacones (this is a double fried "green" plantain that is flattened) which were really good, sometimes it's a challenge to make those because sometimes they taste too dry and hard (over cooked) but these were pretty good just a little on the greasy side. I had the fish soup (tuna) was really good, with different root veggies, the tuna was mild taste, didn't taste like tuna, it came with a side of rice and 4 slices of avocados. We had a side dish of plantains (maduros, which is when you let the green bananas ripen and fry them, they are sweet tasting) they are soft with some kind of white cheese was really good too. I had a coconut lemonade (no alcohol), it was really good too! And they make a really good Tiramisu (I've had better but this was good). My coconut drink was about $6, my soup was about $11, I don't remember the other prices... Everything was well sized portions too! Service was spot on, they attended us quickly, didn't wait long to be served, and she was always coming back to see if we needed anything. I'd recommend, to...

Read moreThis is a fabulous place. We were made to feel right at home. Driving up to what looked like a hole-in-the-wall restaurant we were a little skeptical, but once we walked in any reservations we had vanished. The dining room stands as one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen. The staff is friendly and speaks perfect English (My Spanish is only so so.) The menu has plenty of Central American dishes as expected. However, they also have a Tex-Mex section and a few vegetarian options some folks may prefer. I had steak & sausage with rice, beans, avocado and fried fatback (chicharron). Everything was delicious. I look forward to sampling more of their menu.
If you’re looking for great Latin food in a clean and welcoming environment, this is the place. I highly recommend it.

One more thing. They have a full bar and are open late on Friday and...
