Below is an email I sent to the restaurant owner on may18th 2022

How is the right mind of any business owner would they directly neglect an email from a customer in todays digital world is beyond me.

Good morning Mr. Avram,

First id like to say that I know just how difficult it is to be a business owner in this economy and this climate. I myself have suffered in trying to find decent hard working employee's. I and my wife have been regular clients for over a two year period id say and approximately 1 month or so ago we came in as we typically do on the weekend to dine and were basically left sitting at our table for greater than an hour and we watched patrons being served that had arrived after us and our server never came to check on us after she placed or took our order so I finally asked one of the other servers to get the manager and another young man came by and I began explaining to him about our situation and he basically had nothing to say and not even an apology as we had to get up and leave to avoid a scene as I was so upset I knew that if I uncorked that bottle that would be it so we chose to leave and to be honest we have not been back since than and I feel it a shame as for so many others that work there that over the times we have been in always seemed to take great care with us and i am very conflicted about this because for your business to have a manager or person who claimed to be a manager i dont know really if they were or not to have treated us or responded to us in the way he did was just unforgivable. I wanted to write to you before now but just had not had the time and i wanted to share this story with you as you cannot correct a problem if you do not know a problem exists. I never left a review before but felt I had to this time... I ate at Max and Meme for a few years now and I have to say there quality of food, how much food they give you, and there customer service has gone down the drain. You would think that there prices being a little higher that you would get better service and food but not at max and meme ANYMORE. I placed a pick up order and when I got there to pick up my order, Karen was on the phone taking another order with a customer I stood there for 10 minutes before someone else rang up my order while Karen was arguing with the customer on what they had to offer and what they didn’t, at Times she got loud and rude with the customer in front of me and other customers that where eating there. When I got home with my food my pancakes had no powder sugar or butter on them even though I paid extra for it waited so long to be rung up that when I got home my food was to cold to eat. They also charged me $6 for 2 L Apple juices that where filled up a little higher than half way. I don’t know if the owners even care about these reviews because they don’t even comment on any of the reviews I’ve seen on here or even give an apology for the poor service other customers have received, but I will say this I hope you enjoy my $30 I spent there it will be the last time I get breakfast or anything to eat at...

2nd time going. 1st time was AMAZING. Maybe like a year ago. So good. I remember having an omelet. And the pancakes were good.Clean and homey feeling. Waiter was awesome and even the owner came out to greet us. Sooo nice. But this 2nd time. Nothing to brag about. I was ready to go eat somewhere else. Our waiter was a little off today. Super nice but maybe distracted. Had to call him over and ask for everything. Can we have coffee, can we get our silverware, can we have napkins. And I HATE COMPLAINING about food but it's more my opinion. Soooo!!! The stuffed French toast I ordered had an almond flavor. I'm guessing thats their specialty but nah!! I love almond flavoring but I like my traditional Cinnamon French toast. Especially when its not specified that your changing the flavor. Nothing cinnamon about them. Then I specifically asked was the cream cheese that it was stuffed with sweetened and he said yes. But nope it was just a thick layer of CC and slices of banana. Again, my opinion, i love me some CC but my expectations was some soften sweetened CC in the middle with banana but Nope not what i got.Then the scrambled eggs came out a little to soft. Couldn't eat them. And those little tumblers they use for creamer made a mess. Should definitely change those. I'm sure it won't be our last time going. I'm hoping to try other things...
