Went in for lunch on a Friday and the place was hopping and we got there 30 minutes after it opened. Liked the vibe, service was good, and the staff were very friendly. Grabbed a hazy ipa beer and a "Smoke on the Watermelon" cocktail (mezcal, triple sec, fresh watermelon juice, house made sweet and sour with tajin rimming the glass) . For food we went with their St. Louis dry rubbed pork ribs, german potato salad and the Alabama Chicken Sandwich with chimichurri french fries. Food needs more seasoning to kick it up a notch. For example for the fries — just make some garlic fries and provide the chimichurri as a dipping sauce because you barely could taste it. It looked nice but flavor wasn't there. If ordered again I'd ask for some sauce on the side. The Alabama Chicken sandwich was good, nice cook, tasty flavors when you eat the chicken by itself. The bread, though tasty, was mellowing out the flavors in there. Maybe if open faced it would be punchier in flavor? I'd order this one again. The ribs needed to go a little longer as they were chewy in texture. Took some home and will wrap in foil and see how they turn out cooked a little longer. Nice smoke flavor, dry rub was pretty normal.

So hard to give a really great reviews during these times but my experience was awesome. Patio dinning was nice even with the hot weather. They even had some misters running in some places for you to cool off. Most if all outside seating is shaded too. I had the pulled chicken Pub House Sando with fries. I'm not a BBQ sauce person and I found it great they didn't drench the sando in it. They do give you two sides of BBQ sauce (included) with your food ( 1 regular bbq sauce and 1 i would say is more a Carolina bbq sauce) so you can add it yourself. I would add some mayo myself next time as chicken tends to be dry but the chicken was killer good. The bread looks like ciabatta but soft and delicious..The fries were awesome as well..my friend had the pork pub sando with slaw and said it was legit. Great beers!! We waited maybe 10-15 minutes for a table but with these times nothing they can do with limited seating. Service from staff was awsome, great attitudes from everyone. I'm making this a regular stop from here out. I'm going to add a pic of my sando and fries (I ate one half and some fries before I thought to take a pic)

Food and beer were fantastic, but I think it was a little understaffed for a Saturday night. Coming from Wisconsin, I like to think I know beer, and the mandarin wheat beer is the best citrus-heavy beer I've ever had. If you like citrusy beer, do not miss this place or the tasting room across town. I also recommend their Alohawk. The food is excellent barbecue pub fare. The pulled pork sandwich is smoky, juicy, and sweet with the right amount of crispy. The homemade sauces are delicious. One's sweeter barbeque, the other is vinegar based. Try them both next to the ranch dressing when you get the chimmi churri seasoned fries for an appetizer. The only reason this place got 4 stars instead of 5 is the slow service. It's a self-seating place, and we weren't served at first until, after 20 minutes, I approached the bar to ask for service. The rest of the meal was similarly slow. It was busy and very loud, but those aren't downsides for everyone. The slow service wasn't ideal, but I'd still recommend this place for the food and beer.

Start with the service. Wait was twice as long as expected last two times due to “kitchen back ups”. Once seated the wait was still on. We finally were able to order drinks and an appetizer so we ordered nachos with pulled pork. Once the appetizer arrived we mentioned that there didn’t seem to be meat on them. We were assured that the meat was under the toppings. We ate almost 1/2 to nachos trying to get to the meat that we still couldn’t see. Well, we finally found the 2 spoonfuls of meat at the bottom of the plate below the chips. We told the waitress about it and a manager came out with a pretty defiant attitude telling us that we are half the nachos so they could give us a side of “chicken”. Well, we ordered pulled pork nachos……so we just told him he could keep his nachos and not worry about. The waitress returned and told us that they were going to comp the nachos and that was nice. Now I’ll mention the food. Brisket is decent. Tri tip is dry, chicken is dry and there were no ribs tonight……one of the staples and nothing crazy like a holiday or anything. Anyway, I’ve had the ribs and didn’t feel like I was missing out. The sauce….needs work. I grew up in the south so it’s not really a fair comparison but seriously it’s not great. Way to watery and really doesn’t even taste like bbq sauce, probably more like a tomato sauce or some sort. So I live local and understand that there’s not many options in town but I don’t think that’s an excuse to come back. I’ve been here probably about 8 times and this is my only review but I’ve never been impressed. I don’t think it matters much but I wouldn’t recommend it. Decent food with shorter waits is barely 15 minutes from here. I do want to add that our server Marina was absolutely amazing. Not wishing them anything negative and love to support local small business but they need to up their game and...

We arrived and waited over an hour for a seat. That was kind of expected because they did seem busy. Once we sat, we waited another 20 minutes for a waitress to come by and take our starter order (nachos and Hawk wings-korean style). It took a while to come out and then the food was subpar. The Nachos were good, but they were cold and yet the plate they were on was SCALDING hot. It was a very odd conundrum. The cheese had already started to congeal and the chips and meat were cold as well. The wings were hot, but salty. Not my favorite. but I am very particular when it comes to Korean flavors. We ordered our entrees before the starters were completed to give them time to be prepared. We were not aware that it would require an hour to do so. So here we are were playing the waiting game again. They ran out of ribs for my son's meal which was wild since it is considered a BBQ spot. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Anyway, we ordered the meat sampler (ribs & brisket), the brat, and the Cuban sandwich. Another hour goes by. We had already spent almost 3 hours at this establishment and I was ready to leave at this point. When my husband stated he wanted to cancel our order and would like the check. Somehow miraculously it was being plated. We got it to go. The manager came to the table expressed that it was crazy that we waited this long, but that she thinks they may have lost our ticket back in the kitchen or something. Then she stated she doesn't really know what happened to cause all of the confusion and delay. She took 50% off the dinner, but I just would have preferred a good meal and experience. She seemed nice, but I had already reached my quota for patience and was ready to go. I probably won't revisit. The drinks were good though. So if you go....I would suggest sticking to those. Also, the overall ambiance of the place was really nice. It's a super cute place. But...

The vibes were great, nice staff and a cozy dining area. I love that people can bring their pups to the outdoor dining area, I really appreciate businesses who allow for the doggos.

We decided to order half of the menu because of the rave reviews we saw.

The appetizers were great and the beer selection plentiful. We really enjoyed the wings (half and half), and the Parmesan chimichurri fries.

Sadly the food went downhill from there. They had no ribs (which was the reason we drove across Sacramento), and were told that it would be an hour wait. Unsure how a BBQ place runs out of ribs, but here we are.

Decided to get the sampler platter with chicken, brisket and tri tip. Unfortunately the theme of the day was "dry". Everything was super dry and unappetizing.

I am somewhat of a BBQ aficionado, every city we visit we always hit up the top rated spots. Perhaps today was just a fluke for LBB, but it was just not good. Everything was extraordinarily dry and flavorless, minus the chicken which was dry but had a wonderful smokey flavor.

Not sure if the quality was lacking due to how busy they were, but it was very disappointing. We noticed a lot of people getting nachos and sandwiches, so maybe we came for the wrong things.

$150 for two is pricy, but we don't mind supporting small businesses. Maybe come on a slow day or call ahead to see if they have what you're craving.

As for now I don't think I'd recommend this spot solely for BBQ. If you want a good beer and a delicious appetizer, this may be the...
