Manager/Owner..Idk..But was very rude. I'm allergic to onions and tries to explain this to him and his response was, after cutting me off from saying what I had to say after speaking 8 words, was I can't afford to throw away food. #8 states that a breakfast bowel comes with home fries, sausage or beacon, eggs and topped with gravy. Does not say that it comes with nor has onions in it. I looked up home fries and it does NOT say that it comes with onions either. The manager/owner stated to me that wherever you go and ask for "home fries" that it always comes with onions. Well 1st off, I think of "home fries" is fries not hashbrowns, 2nd if I would have ate that meal, I might have died. I work in the medical field as an EMT (and my ambulance was parked out side, in front of the building by the windows) and was glad I spotted the onions before I ate the meal. I asked the waitress it my meal was suppose to have onions in it and she stated that she didn't know and for me to talk with the manager/owner. So when I did I got the 3 degree about how it's my fault for not already knowing it came with onions and how he had to waste food. It's the restaurants responsible to make sure what is listed on the meal that you get. If something was to happen to me, I would've had every right to sue this restaurant, not that I'm that type of person, but after the attitude I got from the manager/owner I would have. I stated to him that I would not be back and his response was fine. I tip the waitress very well when I come in there, I tip $100 to whoever is waiting on me. Yes $100, I have been blessed to have what I have so I share what I have with others. But know this guy has ruined it for his employees and doesn't seem to care one bit about it. So all in all if you go to this restaurant, make sure you know what's in your food before you eat it cause we don't want the manager/owner to "waste" any food. I will be seeing that DEHEC is aware of this as well. Take care...

My husband got Ernie's Southern special biscuits covered in gravy, perfectly crispy bacon and 2 well made sunny-side up eggs along with a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes (could easily substitute for a nice dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, yummy!) Finally my 12 year old got Ernie's pancake special with bacon and scrambled eggs. I think the fact that you could have almost reset that plate for the next dinner with how clean he got it says it all! We will definitely...

We came across Ernie's, all decorated up for Christmas, and thought we'd give it a shot.
The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff attentive and helpful, and the whole place full of friendly folks.
We ordered a Country Special, country fried steak, and some country ham, and were pleasantly surprised. Every bit was perfect, and left us full, content, and without complaint.
The eggs, particularly, were very tasty. Dark orange flavorful egg yokes, cooked precisely to order.
We aren't Loris native, but sure...
