I cannot say enough about the outstanding service and thoughtfulness I experienced from Monica during my visit. From the very beginning, she showed such genuine care and respect for my dietary needs, going above and beyond to make sure everything was handled properly.

When I asked about whether the food could be prepared in a way that avoided cross-contamination with non-halal meats, Monica immediately reassured me that she would take care of it personally. What truly impressed me was how seriously she took my concern—she didn’t just give me a standard “yes” or brush it off. Instead, she went out of her way to ensure that a completely fresh batch of oil was used just for my meal, separate from the oil that had been used to fry other meats. That level of attention and respect for my needs was both rare and incredibly appreciated.

It’s not easy to find places or people who are mindful enough to accommodate halal requirements without hesitation, and Monica’s actions really stood out. She understood how important it was to avoid cross-contamination and took practical steps to make sure I could enjoy my meal with complete peace of mind. That extra effort spoke volumes about her professionalism, her kindness, and her respect for her guests.

Because of Monica, my experience wasn’t just about good food—it was about feeling valued and respected. She turned what could have been a stressful situation into one where I felt completely comfortable and cared for. That is the kind of service that deserves to be recognized, and it’s the reason I would gladly come back and recommend this place to others.

Monica is truly an example of what excellent customer service should be: attentive, thoughtful, and willing to go the extra mile. Her efforts did not go unnoticed, and I am sincerely grateful for the...

You get what you pay for. The service is friendly but needs work with communication and speed. When you buy the "All You can eat," pricing the portions are small for like a child but the positive is that you end up ordering the same dish again or something else. The flavors weren't that great when it came to the Beef Yakisoba and the chicken version was just okay. The hibachi beef is lacking in flavor and in veggies, to the point that I only got one mushroom with my veggies. The server was hard to understand and she barely understood us, she just knew how to take orders. At least she was friendly. Moving to the Sushi, I don't recommend this place at all for sushi! You are getting cheated here. I ordered sushi here to go once before and I thought it would be different eating in, but I was wrong. I ordered the spicy salmon and the spicy Tuna and neither were spice or good. They don't give you a full slice of the fish in the roll, what they do is give you what looks like a grounded mush of fish meat with some kind filling along with very little red peppers. Not worth the money and I feel cheated. The Gyoza is fully fried but good, and the spring rolls are good also. Just know that they are really small. The desserts are just as lacking, we ordered the chocolate moose and it was big enough for my 7 year old daughter to get but for an adult it would be two scoops and done. Plus it taste like a chocolate flavored whip cream. We also got a chocolate ice cream that looked like they bought it at a nearby convenience store. For the price, this place has decent food if you are looking to eat a lot. It's more of a family friendly buffet restaurant. As for the quality, it's a miss for me. Friendly service but not...

Editing my review: It’s been several months since I left my first review here. However, in that time, this restaurant has fallen with its status. Food quality and service has steeply declined from where it was months ago. I used to come here every few weeks, now I am not sure if I will again. Have now had issues with it taking upwards of half an hour to receive next order or drink, having to ask several times/. Additionally, had times where food that was supposed to warm came to my table cold (miso soup, beef and rice, edamame (soybeans), etc). Along with having found bugs at times in the soybeans as well. Portions have also gotten smaller. What is happening to this restaurant? You are following the same path that all the previous restaurants in this location have, declining service and quality till they closed down after.

Do not recommend as much as before. Proceed with caution. I was a pretty regular customer for a while, no more now.

List of complaints that has made me change my review after having gone here many times:

Slow service at times, even when restaurant is empty -Food sometimes arrives cold, or improperly prepared -Seen employees not wash their hands or BARELY wash their hands at all after using the bathroom. Or even touch floor, etc then proceed to handle FOOD -Orders often forgotten or ignored

Previous review: Great restaurant! It’s all you can eat and you can order as much as you want of the food. The dishes come in such a unique and nice style, and is delicious. It tastes just as good as it looks! The servers were also very kind, friendly, and welcoming, meeting any requests. Great restaurant!...

I’ve been a loyal customer for over two years now. For logistical reasons related to work and convenience. Visited many times with up to 8 people.. The restaurant is declining. A major radical change from top management should occur soon or they will risk being out of business. Food quality and service has steeply declined. I went yesterday evening (17:00). A Friday afternoon is presumably a busy time. No one was there. Even the reception wasn’t. Had to ask if they were open. All the employees I saw were on their phones. Me and my wife had the same feeling that “we were not welcomed “ kind, or what got you here now kind… The supposed to be warm welcome of the first customer in the evening was as cold as “how many?” In reference to the number of customers (me and my wife obviously), but the same cold welcome infected the presumed hot food that came cold, like miso soup, the edamame, shrimp tempura, and the dry cold uneatable hibachi. The ginger was black on its side. I took the picture and asked AI of the reasons. The answer was primarily due to spoilage. Being with my wife , I ordered 2 Kani salad. Only one came. Had to remind of the other. I understand that sushi ohayo is a franchise.this review is not meant to promote nor de market the brand. Since we have had a very pleasant experience with a different branch nearby. Again, owner(s), time to change, or risk losing loyal customers. Best regards.
