THEY SERVE FOOD WITH MOLDS AND NOT APOLOGETIC ABOUT IT.

I have placed my order through DoorDash. It was the half chicken and rice and beans, side of picco and plantains. I also order Flan for dessert. Since it is my first time I thought to give them a try even though the reviews were not as great. I just hope it is good. I got my orders and after trying, the chicken was OK, so then I tried to open the Flan. As soon as I opened there was black spots and green molds all over it! With my dismayed I almost throw up. I was so disappointed and tried to contact DoorDash to let them know about the issues they said they will call me back within 3hours. A moment after I called the restaurant to let them know what happened with my order. First person who answered the phone was not friendly, I asked for a manager and yet again another unfriendly one. I explained about my order and he said he will give the phone to the owner. So then I started talking to the owner. I was hoping that I will be greeted with a friendly attitude since she’s the owner.l, but I was so disappointed. After explaining what happened, she then told me to come and get a refund. I told her I wasn’t asking for a refund. First of all she didn’t even acknowledge that it was their fault, no apology and very rude. After mentioning that, she then said “ WELL IF YOU EVEN LET ME FINISH I WAS GOING TO TELL YOU IF ITS GOING TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER AND RICHER TO COME AND PICK UP YOUR $3.00! Coming from an owner this is not acceptable. I never expected that nor experience it. It is quite upsetting to hear that from her. I could’ve fed that to my son and got sick from it. The health department should come and visit this place and shut it down.

VERY RUDE, THEY SERVE...

On 1 January 2025, I walk in to this "restaurant" at abaout 2 pm First when I walk in. The lights were out, Dinning area was dark. I waited to be attended, and no one was at the front desk, so I served myself a drink from the cooler which I opened knowing that I would eat and drink there and I would pay for the food and drink. 5 minutes later, a guy come from the back and asked me how I could be help, to what I answer I want a quarter of chicken, he replied breast or leg, I said anything is fine.

I ask him what side the order included , to what he responded. Read the menu. He was kind stutter in spanish to what I ask him if he speaks spanish or prefer English, he responded with a question as if I speak English to what I say yes. So I ask him in English of what was the sides for the order , to what he responded is your food you add whatever you want to.. To what I said , that please charge me for the drink because was already open, that I will not eat there. He replayed thanks GOD. To what I said why he would treat costumers like that, to what he responded I being a d...h... I ask him for his manager to complain to what he responded he was the manager. I told him he shouldn't be in that position because that is not a way to treat a costumer. He responded just pay for the drink and get the f. Out of here.

He challenged me by saying his name was Cailo' if I want to file a complaint with the owner.

Well I hope the owners see this review, and as he thanks GOD when costumer refuse to eat there, he can get an answer to his prayer and no one go there to eat. As for me I would never be back to eat there, and I don't rec I mend that...

Well, this place is horrible. The service is extremely slow the people taking your order. Also don’t seem to know what the heck they’re doing. They can’t get your order correct. They failed to give us some of the sides we ordered, thinking we wouldn’t notice and one of the combo plates we ordered involved a quarter chicken dark meat. When they gave us our order, they gave us white meat and just told us we’re out of dark meat. I hope white meat is OK. No, it’s not OK and you should’ve told us that before we placed the order and how the heck does a chicken place not have dark meat? Like seriously? Since they couldn’t get our order correct nor did they actually have dark meat at their restaurant. We told them we didn’t want the food to give us our money back and the lady running. The show got very upset with us, even though this was their fault and then they tried to give us back the amount of money that the food cost, but we had actually thrown in a tip at the counter since that’s where we ordered the food and the lady got pissed when we asked for the tip back as well. I will never step foot in his place again. I went to this restaurant Probably 10 years ago and it must’ve been under different management because it was actually good.
