We dined here hoping for a high-end experience—after all, the place is certainly priced like one. The food? It was good. Not great, not groundbreaking, just good. Definitely not bad, but absolutely not worth the inflated prices. You’re paying for the name, the ambiance, and maybe the Instagram appeal—but not the food itself.
But what really tanked the evening was the service. Easily some of the worst I’ve encountered in a long time. The waitstaff were arrogant and checked-out, acting like they were doing us a favor just by being there. No eye contact, no engagement, no interest in creating any kind of experience—they made it very clear they had better things to do.
And oh, the wait. We were there for almost an hour and 40 minutes. On a weeknight - with only a few other tables in the restaurant. No one came by to offer updates, check in, or even acknowledge the delay in our food arriving. When it finally came time to pay, we left our card out clearly… and watched it sit there while our waiter hung out in the back with other staff, all of them gossiping and laughing like they were on break at a mall food court.
Eventually, he comes over, casually swipes the card, and—surprise!—the pre-selected tip options start at 20%. For what? For ignoring us the entire night?
If you’re looking for good food and genuinely awful service in a place that takes itself way too seriously, congrats—you’ve found it. Otherwise, skip this place. There are too many restaurants out there that still understand what hospitality...
Read moreTucked away in Brentwood, All Roads Pinseria + Enoteca is a delightful homage to Roman culinary traditions. The star here is the pinsa—a Roman-style flatbread that’s lighter and airier than traditional pizza, thanks to a unique blend of rice, soy, and wheat flours fermented over several days. Toppings range from classic Margherita to inventive combinations like mortadella with pistachios and burrata, offering a flavorful journey with each bite.
The ambiance strikes a balance between casual and chic, with warm tones and artistic touches like a whimsical flying donkey mural, creating a cozy yet sophisticated setting. Complementing the food is an impressive selection of Italian wines and craft beers, curated to enhance the dining experience.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, All Roads offers a slice of Rome in the heart of Los Angeles. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic flavors in a...
Read moreI had a rather mediocre experience here, primarily due to the lackluster service. For a new restaurant offering pinsas, salads, and appetizers, the menu can be a bit unclear for those dining as a pair. Unfortunately, our waiter wasn’t much help. She simply showed up with a "Are you ready to order?" and offered no guidance or recommendations, which felt quite unprofessional.
We decided on the artichokes, a salad, and two pinsas on our own which ended up being the right amount of food. While the ingredients were fresh, the flavors were good but not memorable—just very average. The artichokes, in particular, were disappointing, with only three small hearts. On the positive side, the wine was the highlight of the meal. They offer a generous pour and a nice selection of Italian wines.
Overall, this isn’t a place I’d rush back to unless there’s a happy hour deal. Come for the wine, but don’t expect much in terms of service or...
