Belwood Bakery — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Yesterday I walked up the Brentwood Circle and ending up at Bellwood Bakery as I saw they were open. We got some delicious sandwiches roast beef with greens and a veg and Andy was so friendly and appreciative for the business. Today I needed some bread so I called and he had a loaf packaged and waiting for me. I absolutely love bread but like many of us don't eat alot of it but this time we are grateful for the simple things and just enjoying them. This loaf is a thing of aromatic and visual beauty. Truly the prettiest pastries I've ever seen and then to top it off, the flavors were magnificent! They must have a real artist and professionally trained pastry chefs. Months later I ordered a Chocolate Fudge Cake, expecting a pretty normal cake and whewee were we all amazed! This is a weird review. Belwood is great - nice, quick, and classic baked goods (especially the chocolate muffin!), but that’s not what this review is about.

Belwood’s smoothies are SO good. Kreation is nearby and doesn’t even compare to Belwood’s smoothies. The strawberry banana is my go to (a classic), but mango and other flavors are so delicious too.
