Divino — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Tanino, our server, was extremely gracious and all the staff was friendly and kind. My friend and I were quite underdressed as we had somehow not anticipated the denseness of LA traffic (silly, I know, but we're from out of town) and the staff paid no mind even though the restaurant is a classier place than we were prepared to attend. To me this only attests to the level of their service, that they were able to put us at ease. The cocktails were lovely, I definitely recommend "Moonlight" which I believe was one of their signatures. We left the choice of what to order to our server who did an excellent job finding us the perfect meal match with only a few brief questions about our tastes. Thank you all for lovely service, a charming atmosphere, and delicious food and drinks! We would certainly come again...

Food was good, but the restaurant as way too crowded on a very busy Saturday night. They need better crowd control...people were hovering all around our table waiting for their table. Very loud dining room when that crowded--couldnt hear what others said to me from across our table and the restaurant requested I sit at a weird angle so the staff could get to other tables. There are too many tables in the main dining room-- we felt like we were packed in like a can of sardines. Literally no space between tables and we were banging into the guests next to us. Not comfortable at all.

The restaurant is located just off sunset in a great little shopping area. Parking may be challenging but it shouldn't detour you from coming here. Our party of four went on a Monday and the restaurant was packed. They were understaffed and while friendly, our orders were not taken in a timely fashion. This would be the only reason they receive 4/5 and not 5/5. The food was outstanding and is worth the time you need to wait to place your order. Once your order is placed, it's pretty quick.
