This restaurant feels like a Korean-inspired restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The place was also well lit, clean and cozy 👍🏼. It might be harder to find parking but if you live nearby, you can always order it for to-go. The cashier was very friendly and patient in explaining the menu. The food was overall great, and reasonably priced as well 💯!

The food:

Spicy Chicken 🌶️🍗(8/10): I thought the portion was generous! The rice texture was cooked to perfection (not watery). Meat was mildly chewy and the salad that came with the bowl was fresh 🥗. I think the only thing I didn't like was how spicier this dish is compared to the spicy pork. Which was supposedly having the same level of spiciness.

Spicy Pork 🌶️🐷 (10/10): The spicy pork though, was delicious 😋🤤! The meat was juicy and tender. One thing though, if you don't like onions, you better let them know ahead of time, because they put a lot of onions on my bowl and my mouth smelled like onion for hours 🧅😩.

Overall, I totally recommend this restaurant! Great food, clean, convenient, reasonably priced and your food gets served pretty quickly. They have many branches throughout west LA. So, you can pick whichever is closest to you. I think they will still taste...

I was just walking by after picking up a coffee from Bluey’s next door and stopped in. I believe it was the owner who was in preparing food and sauces for the day when I dropped in (~1130am). He was super nice. I got the spicy chicken. Possibly the best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted in my life. Zero exaggeration. Beautiful presentation and the flavor was so incredible. I’m absolutely blown away. It’s not what I was expecting from this tiny hole in the wall with a handful of indoor and outdoor tables. This is unreal. I only want to eat this chicken and nothing else for the rest of my life. How is this so cheap? Look at the prices. What in the hell? I feel like I’ve been teleported back to 2011. I’m just flabbergasted. Bluey’s next door is fine and trendy with people lined up on a Saturday while this place sits quietly next door with the BEST CHICKEN on planet earth. Now I’m googling about it. Matthew Kim is local and he’s the owner. He’s got four of these small joints around LA. Mr. Kim, I was an atheist before trying your chicken. I will be spreading your gospel until my last breath. EVERYONE, CANCEL YOUR DINNER PLANS, CANCEL YOUR TRIP TO IBIZA, QUIT YOUR JOB, LIQUIDATE YOUR 401K, SELL ALL YOUR BELONGINGS, BUY...

The food is fire! The service is mediocre, and the atmosphere is trash (literally). There was a city trash can right outside the restaurant door overfilled with garage and reeking of piss. As for inside of the restaurant, it is very small and crammed. You’re almost standing on top of other people as you wait in line to order or wait for your food to be ready.

As for the food… wow!! 10 out of 10. I ordered the Koren fried chicken (sweet & spicy) and a side of steamed rice. I cannot wait to go back and order this again. I killed the entire meal and did not leave anything behind. My wife ordered the Spicy Mayo Chicken bowl and the Fried Chicken Dumplings. The portion size was huge! She could not finish it. The spicy sauce was too spicy and overpowered the flavor of the chicken, rice, and veggies. Rating this bowl a 4 out of 10 on the spicy overkill.

The prices here are AMAZING! We only spent $25 for our food, drove to Manhattan beach, and enjoyed it while watching the sunset. Our food was still hot after the...
