Horrible experience ever with this place. I order 5 Pizzas to go. And I was told it would be ready in 45 minutes cause they were busy. I said okay no big deal. An hour later I've arrived and the pizzas were still not made at all. So I told the girl who is moving tickets around, that I've called an hour ago and she just said sorry were busy and it will take another 15 minutes to be ready. I said okay, and walked out to wait in my car. 20 minutes later I come back and still no pizza was made. So I said, look I ordered the pizza over an hour ago and I still waited additional 20 minutes and my pizza is not ready yet. Come on how much longer is it going to take? She said 10 more minute. So I walked out again and came back 15 minutes later, and yet no pizza was ready. Now I am upset 😔 because I called earlier and then wait over 2 hours for simple pizzas to be made. She just said I just check with the cook and it will take 8 more minutes. So I said I'll wait outside by the benches. 10 minutes later I walk back in and ask for my pizza and guess what. No pizza available. Now I'm upset and annoyed of the poor service. A few costumers who have seeing me in and out they asking for my order. They said oh, your name was called out a while ago. and it looks like your order is been ready long time ago. So I ask the girl again. If they call my name, but she said no I told you it will be a few more minutes, now I am confused and upset. But turns out she did called my name a while back.. and my food was just setting there for over an hour and she still made me wait because she did not pay attention to the name that I said to her several times. The costumers hear my name several times that's why they told me my food was ready. This employee did her job poorly. Waiting over 2 hours for pizza is an acceptable. I end up walking out with cold pizza. This place needs to train their employees better to pay attention to details so this kinds of mistakes don't happened. 1ā˜† to this employee.

When you review a restaurant and choose to visit it, you have to understand what it's aiming to be...and what it is not. More importantly, the restaurant needs to know that, too. Pitfire gets the assignment: it knows what lane to be in, and it does so really well. Believe it or not, I've never tried the pizza here. I'm from NYC and lived there for too long to enjoy pizza from a spot like this. So I don't even try, but that doesn't mean that Pitfire fails. I've come here delicious salad and cheesy knots for years, with a soft serve ice cream to boot. The salad is a perfect Italian chopped. They get the ingredients and dressing right, and yes, you could f*** up a salad. The cheesy knots are ridiculous - cheesy, crunchy on the outside yet soft on the inside, and with a savory marinara sauce to dip. The soft serve isn't the best quality ice cream for sure, but it does the trick. Who doesn't like a good swirl? šŸ¦ I'll also mention that the staff always goes out of their way to be nice and cater to your every need...despite it being fast casual. There's also a ton of space - both indoor and outdoor. This combo is so good that I've probably had it at least 15 times...and don't even live in LA anymore. Is there better quality food to be had in the city? Of course. But if you want a casual salad/pizza/breadsticks spot with super nice staff, lots of space and tasty food, Pitfire should be one of your go-to's.

Just went to try the margarita pizza I was kinda disappointed. Detailed review: this is my first time visiting this restaurant, the reviews and the 4.5 start won me over to try it but honestly I don't give it a 4.5 the best it's a 3 or 2.5. Pizza: I ordered a margarita pizza and usually those are nice and delicious and slightly oily. But the pizza was very dry almost every bite I had to take a sip of my drink to get it down the marina sauce is very scarce that it made it hard to eat without a drink. The cheese and basil is ok tasted whatever Service: service I give it a 1 out of 5 stars it was kinda awkward and after I had to chug my drink for half of my pizza no one offered to refill my cup ( for the record it was me and another couple in the entire restaurant) I give the service a 2 cause I had to get my own drink and one of the services gave me a free cookie for an apology for getting my own drink , personality I don't mind getting my own drink but I couldn't get it myself Cookie : dry and big I don't care for big foods when they don't taste that great . I was hoping they had pazookie instead All in all I don't recommend this place unless you're here for something else instead of the pizza like pasta or other stuff from the menu.

TLDR: I waited over 40 minutes for a pickup order (only one cheese pizza).

It's my first time at this establishment, and I feel compelled enough to write my how horrible my experience was. I ordered via third party app an hour before closing on a Sunday where it was not busy at all and showed up 10 minutes later asking about the status, which FOH staff said about 2 mins (ended up being +30 more mins). I stepped out for a few mins and came back and still wasn't ready. Some folks got seated, had their meal, and left before I even got my pizza (reminder only ONE pizza). Throughout this whole ordeal, the FOH staff never came up to check on me with water, or the status of my pizza knowing they saw me waiting in front of them. There were probably like 5+ BOH staff just cleaning up their stations since they were about to close. As they were about to close they FINALLY asked about my order, to which I said I waited over 30 minutes and they began working on it.

It seems this establishment has communication problems between their staff and it's evident in previous reviews that this was never resolved. If anyone decides to eat here, please be more proactive with your order or else they'll simply forget regardless of how busy or slow it is. In my case, it was not busy before closing and I still succumbed to the flaws of this establishment and their staff/management. I hope the owner/manager reading this can address the communication concerns because if it's not resolved, I don't know how any restaurant can...
