If you're a wing person or I also got the 24th street tacos or even just simply seeking a cozy spot with unbeatable vibes, look no further than Bird's Nest Cafe. I’m in LA and this hidden gem exceeded all expectations. Let's talk about those wings – they were nothing short of spectacular. Each bite was a symphony of flavor and crunch, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Whether you're into classic buffalo or daring to try their unique specialty flavors, you won't be disappointed. But Bird's Nest Cafe offers more than just exceptional wings and tacos; it's an experience. The ambiance is inviting, with warm lighting and eclectic decor that instantly puts you at ease. Cool music. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. After my visit, I can confidently say that Bird's Nest Cafe is not just another eatery – it's a culinary haven. It's rare to find a place that excels in both food quality and ambiance, but Bird's Nest Cafe effortlessly achieves this balance. It's no exaggeration to say that it's one of the best places I've ever stopped by for a bite. Seriously, it's that good. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and make Bird's Nest Cafe your next dining destination. You won't regret it.

I was debating between 3 or 4 stars for the food alone.. and the sunrise tacos and their orange juice pushed me to give 4, on food alone. Service brought the overall down to 3 stars. Food - sunrise tacos were the best thing we ate. Got it with chorizo and glad I did, it was so good. Would never order their avocado toast again. The hotlink sausage wasn’t hot at all. It was just okay. The fresh oj was amazing and their coffee was pretty good. Overall if I happen to be in this area again, I might consider stopping by just to get the tacos again and maybe try something else. But nothing worth going out of your way for. Service - 2 stars for the service category on its own. We waited a good 15min standing at the counter before we were acknowledged and could order. They were a little busy but there wasn’t a single person who was designated to taking orders. Everyone just kept passing by. We were close to turning the little iPad and putting in the order ourselves. And then the problem is once we were finally acknowledged to order, she didn’t even bother to smile or even pretended to be nice. Just asked what we wanted and that’s it. Parking - we found some metered street parking right by the restaurant.

Ordered the "Oh My Goodness Burrito" which SHOULD contain Steak, egg, avocado, cheddar, hash, and salsa. It should come with baby g salad. As you can see in the picture, it only had hashbrown, egg, and a few slices of avocado. No steak (the point of this 18.75+ tax burrito), no cheddar (gotta have my cheese). My wife ordered steak and eggs, which was very well presented, and tastes good. There is no service here. We arrived as first time Sunday breakfast customers. Sat down for about 5 minutes and nobody every approached us with a menu. I guess you grab your own menu and take a seat. The atmosphere is nice. After we knew what to order, the person delivering the food never acknowledged us until I got up and went to the cashier to order. Already a poor experience, but hey, maybe the food is good, right? I ordered my Steak and Eggs burrito and my wife her plated steak and eggs and some fruit for my 9month daughter. Wouldn't come here again, ended up being over 50$

As a construction worker currently involved in the new project at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College, I have been fortunate to discover the Birds Nest Cafe on Olive Street. This establishment has quickly become a favored lunch destination, thanks to its exceptional good food and inviting atmosphere.

I visit a couple of times a week, and each time I am consistently impressed by the quality of the food. The portions are generous, easily capable of satisfying two individuals, which ensures I leave feeling content and well-nourished. A standout favorite is the breakfast burritos—remarkably fresh, moist, and bursting with flavor. Equally commendable are the burgers, served on soft brioche bread that elevates the entire dining experience.

The menu, while not inexpensive, offers high-quality dishes worth every penny. A particular highlight is the variety of fries available, with the West Coast fries as a personal favorite. Whether topped with beef or chicken, these fries are a meal in its self.

The Birds Nest Cafe may appear modest from the outside, but its true charm lies in the warm, community feel it fosters. In a city like Los Angeles, often acclaimed for its upscale dining, this cafe offers a refreshing, down-to-earth alternative where one can truly unwind and savor a meal. For anyone seeking a genuine, local dining experience, the Birds Nest Cafe is unquestionably...
