Breakroom Coffee And Food — Restaurant in Los Angeles

The coffee shop is located on the outdoor courtyard level of a grand office building. I had a flat white and it was a decent one. The latte art was cute. The coffee shop carries some pastries too, however the prices seems high.

The shop setup is very compact, a small building with two windows for order and pickup. An open window, especially a small one like theirs, always feels so much more a barrier than a counter and the customers will be aware that they are outside the shop. It's just hard to have the best experience like this. Apart from that, I like the sunny outdoor seating and meticulously maintained office...

I love this place and come here 2x/day when I am at my office. The folks who operate it are cool, the coffee is strong and excellent (I drink cold brew), and the food is very high-quality. I've tried everything: breakfast sandies, pastries, lunch sandwiches, and everything is super fresh and made on premises. They make an amazing Arnold Palmer also. Very chill, consistent service! Ask for their homemade salsa.

I gave this place a few tries to be fair, but it does not deliver.

The latte is meh. The oat milk latte also meh. Feels weak compared to other coffee shops. The matcha latte is definitely weak, more milk than matcha which is so disappointing. The pastries are also not the best. Service is minimal.

Other than location convenience, there isn't anything great about it. Not sure where all the high rating comes from, but I'll just walk over to Starbucks next time.
