Cielito Lindo — Restaurant in Los Angeles

What a dive. I don't have anything against dives. Some of my best hangovers have seen their Genesis in some of them. But this place is not well ventilated. You come out reeking of all the fajita plates served. Might as well don an apron and help the cooks yourself.

The Drink menu is misleading. They have "margaritas" Hog wash! Ordered one and it was like a slurpee. All sugar and no booze. Told the waitress (a gorgeous wench) of my discovery and she responded that it had tequila. I disagreed-as I often do when encountered by the misinformed. I asked for the name of the aforementioned spirit. She stuttered something unintelligible. I requested a shot of the alleged libation. She stalked off and retrieved a shot of horrible smelling and worst of all, low alcoholic Soju. Blasphemy I cried. The waitress was offended and in turn I was offended by her being offended. After everyone was duly discombobulated, I ate my nachos and order a Corona or two.

Suffice it to say my patronage this place will not get. A shame, really, she was a good looking dame but misguided and ornery. A smile from her would have made turpentine taste good. Alas, some Inns are just too wild...

I was in attendance last night for the karaoke contest finals with my family and we were shocked at the results. The lady who was wearing the red glitter dress, who looked and sounded like Mariah Carey was amazing and should have won the $1000 grand prize.

The entire crowd loved her and had the loudest cheers and applause out of ANY other contestant. Standing ovation from many audience members, including our table!! There was no comparison!! We could not believe you had two judges that sounded horrible and could not sing, pick only Spanish songs and she didn’t even make top 3. Wow. Disgraceful.

There seems to be discrimination happening here. No one was even close to her caliber of singing and performance. Shame on the production and judges for robbing her of the win. We spent hours and lots of $$$$ and felt the entire show dragged out too long listening to these “judges” sing and clown around.

I would be embarrassed to associate myself with this production and staff...

Went there for the very first time and last time on Friday night. The service was horrible. I asked for a Corona beer and the beer was warm. I told the waitress if she could give me a cold one and she had an attitude. Later on she went and told the owner that we were drunk . Which wasn't true at all. I tried there shrimp coctail it looked like they put the shrimp in dirty water. We requested our check and noticed they had charged us for 2 items that we never ordered. We then called the owner to remove the 2 items. But he acted as if he was doing us a favor by removing $21 from our check. I will never go there again . It just took one time for first impression!!! On top of that it looks like an atmosphere where there's drug dealing going on. Definitely not a family friendly...
