Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Awful! First I googled this location and it showed that the location was closed. It was Saturday afternoon and I thought this was strange so I called to verify. A girl answered the phone. I asked if they were open and she said yes. I explained that the hours posted online were wrong. She said well you can't believe everything you see on google. She was very rude and hung up the phone on me. I was shocked. Isn't it up to the store to post the proper hours on Google? This is the most basic thing to do if you have a business. So my husband and I ended up going to the store anyway since we were in the area. We go there and wait to get served. I can already tell we were going to have a bad experience because of the way the girl behind the counter was treating the people in front of us. Very short, very rude, throws the ice cream in front of the customers. Okkkkkkk. So when it is our turn I place my order, coffee lovers only. Then the person tells me they do not have nuts, no nuts of any kind. This is quite shocking. It is nuts, how can you not notice when you run out? Someone obviously is not doing inventory well. To make matters worse the ice cream was melted, it obviously has not been kept at the correct temperature. The ingredients were STALEEEEEE. Why is this location still in business!?!!??!?! This store was horrible! Employees do not have name tags so I could not get the name. Girl was 5'3 black hair hispanic. She was wearing a random t-shirt and pants. Not the coldstone uniform I have seen before. Also there was another girl in the back wearing a short ass tight mini dress. Looked like she was going clubbing not really coming to work. Anyway I am pissed! I HORRIBLE SERVICE HORRIBLE ICE CREAM! NEVER GOING TO GO TO A COLD...

Love this place! Always a pleasure everytime we visit! Staff are all super friendly and welcoming, will accommodate you and give you the best customer service experience!

Especially today, my bf and i went to the northridge location, the girl, Brooke, was extremely rude to us! When she was making my ice cream, i realized it had bananas on it and i have bad allergies with it. Instantly, i apologized and said i didn’t know there was bananas included. She looked so annoyed, threw the ice cream shes making aggressively and gave me a new one but slammed it on the counter and walked away…. Hella rude! We paid and left but i didn’t even want to eat my ice cream anymore and threw it away.

We then decided to go to this location, and im telling you! It was the complete opposite. All the staff were suuuper friendly to everyone who came in! Welcoming and the person who assisted us is Yara! Such a delightful person! She even gave me the excess for my ice cream and was just super great! We ended up telling her what happened and all staff were apologizing for another stores incompetence..

Anyway, highly recommend! If you like some good ice cream with extra sprinkles of positive vibes to whoever is making it,...

Update 06/18/24 :

I am really impressed with how polite the gentleman was behind the counter, extremely helpful and very good at making helpful suggestions, but I had to order the peanut butter cup

I had to get the medium size and it was delicious. It didn’t even take three minutes one of these days. I’m gonna try their delicious waffle cones, but this location has outdoor seating and you can still see why they’re open for business

Keep up the good work and great job on picking this man for your staff , no matter what he does he gonna do real well

I love this place I had to try it the chocolate silk shake made from almond milk. The Sweet Smith flavor was perfect topped with whipped cream unfortunately I gained a lot of weight however I’ve done so with the smile on my face when I come to cold Stone creamery

The young lady working behind the counter is incredibly proficient very knowledgeable and knew how to make the perfect blend of sweet flavored ice cream with texture ready crunchy candy!
