Dont know whats going on with pollo loco, but ever since covid19, I have had nothing but disappointing experiences every time I have went to various locations. I have had food missing, ive been over charged for items not received. This last time I waited at the drive thru window for over 10min and it was raining...worst part was that all i was told was if i could hold on for a sec..and when the employee finally took my order i went to window and tried to pay using ebt and was told that ebt was only accepted inside restaurant, and this has happened to me at other locations, even tho they have the inside locked and they for whatever reason choose to not allow customers to come inside to order? I told employee that how Could I if inside was closed so I was told that i would need to give my pin for card. Which after a while they were able to charge but they only gave me the receipt for the ebt and not the pollo loco receipt and i had ordered the 12 piece meal because I had a mobile app coupon i used and so after an extremely long time waiting for my food..they handed me the bag that was tied and i went home to find out that I was only given 10 pieces of chicken and the chicken was overcooked and charred so very dry and not the usual delicious chicken i expect from pollo loco and I was also shorted one of the sides, so i only received 2 sides instead of the 3 that came with my meal. I am seriously contemplating not eating at pollo loco anymore because of the continuous bad service, and the bad quality of food given or not given everything i paid for. Pollo loco has been out of many items from salsa to the tostada bowls and flour tortillas..and there is never a reason why or any kind of intent to make up for not having items on their menu. Read moreToday I made an on-line order to be picked up. I arrived 45 min before order was suppose to be ready and made myself known that I was there for pick-up. they verify they had the order but pick up time was still 55 min away. I was seeing no action even tho the order consisted of 25 lunch boxes plus other items. I finally start seeing they are putting the lunch boxes on the counter and the manager tells me the order is ready....I had to ask if they had any big box to put them I guess they expected me to carry box by box to my car.... manager comes back with one md. side box which of course only half the order fit. I asked " what about the sodas" since they were combos and she says "Oh does it come with sodas?" didn't they read the order?...I went to take the first box to my car thinking they will bring another box for the rest 12 lunch boxes.....I come back and they are just all on the counter still with a bag full of empty soda cups and tops. Really? after being there over an hour already now they tell me fill out your own drinks? 25 of them? I had to talk out loud for them to get me another box for the rest of the lunch boxes and even louder because no one offered to bring me a box to put all 25 drinks to carry to my car. Finally I had some customers help me. I had to ask for sides napkins etc. I had order with plenty of time to have my order ready because it was for a meeting where we had limited time to eat and conduct the meeting but it all was delayed extra half of hour because of this when I was suppose to be half an hour early if the order was...
Read moreIf i can give NO STAR I would have done it. YES, all the reviews are right. THE WORST POLLO LOCO LOCO LOCO LOCO EVER.. The Glendale and La Canada branch are the BEST. We went around 10:30 pm. NO RICE, NO CORN, NO LETTUCE AND NO SALSA ( RED and GREEN). But we still ordered and took COLESLAW and COLESLAW hahahahaha. To our SURPRISED while we are getting closer to the cashier, we saw a clear plastic container on top of their countertop AND I TOOK A PICTURE OF IT AND ZOOM IT ... OH MY GOODNESS.... IT WAS A SALSA..(while the other employees are replenishing some items. ) We asked again do you have any salsa red or green and the order taker once again told us ... THERE IS NONE. So we repeated ourselves again asking him...THERE IS NO SALSA RIGHT ? and immediately he said NONE.. THIS TIME WE SHOWED HIM THE PICTURE...THEN after I point my finger towards the counter top with a big file of SALSA and said WHAT IS THAT?? it is SALSA RIGHT? And he replied... THAT IS NOT FOR TODAY... THAT IS FOR TOMORROW... and hIs co worker looked at him with a big smile... THEY GOT CAUGHT.. I can't imagine how this people manipulate their customers. .. i hope someday they will get a dose of their own medicine.... ENJOY YOUR CHICKEN POLLO...
