Hank's Chicken Sandwiches — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I was hopeful and excited to try Hank’s. I read the reviews and there was a great deal on Uber Eats.

Unfortunately, my order was spoiled. If the merchant makes a mistake I don’t see how you fault the customer ... and don’t try to make up for it. I was charged an extra $4.00 without my consent. I called to question the charge and when it was brought to their attention that it was a mishap on their end .... nothing was done to make the order right.

Let’s be clear. If the order says $13.00 and it’s under “DEAL” on UberEats - that deal being BOGO ... I don’t expect to be charged $4.00 on top of what I already paid. If there are exclusions then that should be made clear to customers PRIOR to ordering. At that point, that’s not a deal. I have no issue paying for something I ordered. However, if you’re the owner and a technical error has been brought to your attention you should definitely exercise discernment and proceed with great customer service. You can’t get mad at customers who ordered from “DEAL” to not expect a deal. That’s downright idiotic.

The food was quick but the quality is a major fail! Got a sandwich from Hank's Chicken Sandwiches. The taste was good, but half through eating I noticed the bottom bun had lint embedded in it. And not just one piece, multiple! Too fine to detect in my mouth, ughhh my stomach turned 🤢. A shame because otherwise the sandwich was good and tasted fresh. How ever they make or store their buns is noo bueno!! The waffle fries were good but after that discovery I surely wasn't eating another bite of any of the food. The watermelon juice was extremely disappointing, a large portion but outrageously sweet omg. I mean wayyyyyy too sweet. Think McDonalds sweet tea with extra sugar. I decided to try this place out because it had a BOGO special on Postmates and let me tell you it did not disappoint! I ordered the Honey Jalapeño chicken sandwich and the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich. Personally the Honey Jalapeño one was too sweet for me however the Southern Fried one was perfect.
