I discovered this place through a meetup event. The co-owners Judy and Moon were hosting their monthly board game night, and upon first impression, the space was very open, elegant, and inviting. After talking to Judy, these events are one of many social community activities she hosts for free to further strengthen and create a sense of community, especially lost since Covid.
I was fortunate enough to be invited back a couple times to use their space to complete some work. Like wow! This place is my ideal environment/sanctuary to get work done/be productive. It is always clean, spacious, and they have all the amenities you may need from a little kitchen (with snacks and drinks available), printers, private phone booth and conference room! Studious coworking space is truly a beautiful gem of a place I feel so fortunate to find and call home. On top of the space, the variety of people you meet keeps the place lively as their are a variety of people from many different professions working here. Everyone here is respectful, friendly, and to be honest, it feels like family, a 2nd family you have minus the drama you may get from coworkers haha. On top of that, you are centered right in downtown Chinatown. Perfect for little walk breaks and to grab a quick snack/lunch!
Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone that works from home that needs a office/place to be productive, would like to meet new people, or just simply want to get work done in a elegant, home-like environment. I typically like getting work done in a coffee like environment and this definitely surpasses that! Judy and Moon has put in a lot of work to make sure this place is constantly meeting the standards of their members while also focused on the mission of creating a community filled with understanding, respect, and a sense...
Read morewas connected to this this co-working space in Chinatown recently, by a good friend and what a recommendation it was! Despite having been here only a few times, I felt compelled to share my experience.
The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between modern professionalism and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Natural light floods the space, creating an energizing environment that's a joy to work in. The interior design is thoughtful, incorporating elements of Chinatown's rich cultural heritage, which adds a unique touch to the workspace. If you are a fan of green spaces then you will fit right in to Studious.
In terms of amenities, this place doesn't disappoint. The Wi-Fi worked smoothly whenever I needed it, and the various comfortable workstations make long hours surprisingly bearable. I especially enjoy sitting at the couch after l've sat too long at my chair. There is a fantastic assortment of snacks that can be purchased and a clean kitchen fit with a microwave, coffee maker and fridge with freezer.
What truly sets this co-working space apart, though, is the sense of community. Despite my brief visits, l've already had meaningful interactions with fellow co-workers. The camaraderie among members fosters a collaborative spirit that's truly inspiring. The staff here deserves special mention; they're very friendly, accommodating, and always willing to assist with a smile.
The location, right in the heart of Chinatown, is a cherry on top. During breaks, I enjoy exploring the nearby food places and shops, immersing myself in the vibrant culture...
Read moreI had an absolute blast working from Studious Coworking Space.
Let me start off by saying that the community manager of the space, Judy, is super awesome. She's got a heart of gold and everyone adores her. Even though the community is made up of a bunch of different freelancers/companies/organizations, it feels like one big, happy family.
Everyone I met there was full of positive vibes, super friendly, and had a zest for life that you don't see every day. It's safe to say that Studious Coworking Space is the bee's knees.
And let's not forget about the location of Studious Coworking Space! It's right in the heart of Los Angeles, so I'm right in the middle of all my clients. I'm about a 10 to 15 minute drive from North Hollywood, San Gabriel Valley, West LA, or Long Beach.
Also, there's a lot going on around this neighborhood. It feels so close. There are tons of cool coffee shops, restaurants, and bars just a stone's throw away.
Need a caffeine fix? There are a few great coffee spots within walking distance, each with their own unique vibe. And when you need a bite to eat, you've got some options. From old school Asian joints to more hipster trendy joints.
If you're in the mood to unwind after a long day of hustling, there are some great bars nearby too. Sip on a vibing cocktail at General Lee's bar/club or have a beer at the moody...
