The all-vegetarian market is the best place in town for spices, dry goods, and jarred sauces! You can spend hours looking at all the different blends and options. Great prices. Helpful staff. Flax seeds or chickpea flour and the like, which are expensive at fancy grocery stores, are low priced here. Been going for nearly 20 years and still finding new things!
The restaurant side is an incredibly good deal. The large to-go containers especially! Also the dosas are excellent and for the meals you can get puri (fried bread) instead of the roti at no charge. Read moreAll the food is vegan. Unfortunately, the dishes are all identified by their Indian names and don't describe what ingredients they contain. As a result I did not know what I was selecting. I was asked to pick from two types of curry (there are four to choose from) but had no idea what I selected.
This said, the sauces are delicious. A small container containing a mint flavor sauce was superb The rice was too dry but blended with the sauce moistened it. The samosas we're fine though not the best I have eaten.

Plus the food was subpar. We ate there late afternoon today and it is 10:13 pm now and I still have a heart burn and gas from that food.
