Ordered a couple different kinds of bún to try. Unfortunately it was pretty disappointing, which came down to a freshness problem. Nothing was rotten of course, but everything had clearly been sitting around for a long time, which was especially apparent in the greens, and secondly in the noodles. I'm guessing that prep is to make a large number of plain "kit" orders ahead of time and then simply top them with whatever the customer wants.
To be crystal clear, I was never afraid of getting sick. But the real pleasure of eating bún comes from the cool freshness of the ingredients and the contrast of the freshly cooked meat or rolls on top. But it just didn't...

Pretty solid spot, portions were large especially the pho bowls and the various meat they used for the pho dac biet was flavorful. Broth did feel slightly watered down but with a little sriracha, it fixed it right up.
Cha Gia (fried eggrolls) were pretty decent as well. Definitely not enough lettuce to wrap each one and they were pretty small…usually you get about 4 per order at every other vietnamese spot but this one only gave 3.

I usually get the grilled pork (w/ shrimp) spring rolls [Goi Cuon Thit Nuong] and marinated chicken w/ rice [Ga Nuong].
I switched it up tonight and didn’t get the latter, but tried the crispy tofu w/ sliced cucumber, etc. [Tofu Delight] for the first time. I’ve been sleeping on these refreshingly light and flavorful bites.
