The ambiance and cultural atmosphere at the restaurant are lovely, and the service was generally decent. The presentation of the food was visually appealing and definitely Instagram-worthy. However, unfortunately, several members of our group (six in total out of 9) experienced diarrhea the following morning.

Based on our shared experience, we suspect that some of the seafood items served during the first course may not have been as fresh or properly handled as expected. We didn’t consume anything else after that meal, and the symptoms were fairly consistent across those affected.

I reached out via Instagram to share this feedback privately, as there doesn’t appear to be a direct contact method for management. I wanted to encourage the team to review their ingredient sourcing and food safety protocols, especially around seafood and hygiene practices in the kitchen. However, I haven’t received a response, and I’m not sure if the message has been seen. So hence this review.

I’ve since taken down a positive story I had posted on my account, and I've shared our experience with friends who were planning to visit. While I can’t currently recommend the restaurant based on this experience, I truly hope the team takes this feedback seriously and uses it as an...

Food was good and service was great. We got seated as soon as we got in.

I have to say that I was apprehensive on the price tag, but it’s well worth it. I went with my partner and we could barely finish the $50 per person option. The side dishes were really well seasoned. The beef was well seasoned, but slightly on the overcooked side. Galbijjim was the best out of the beef. The pork stir fry was seasoned spot on. The array of fish dishes were soft, flaky and delicious. The octopus wasn’t chewy.

The rice came out on the second course because it seems like they were trying to pair it with more traditional salty side dishes like kimchi, salted cod roe, fermented peppers, and an assortment of seasoned/fermented vegetables. I found myself looking for rice on the first course.

Despite everything I wrote, there’s still more food I...

Service is absolutely horrible. We waited in total 50 minutes to be seated. Even as we were waiting in the front desk, no one acknowledged us for 15 minutes. 20 minutes into waiting another party walked into the restaurant and was seated before us. When confronted, they took no responsibility and we proceed to wait another 30 minutes to just be seated. The owner was completely arrogant and unapologetic. Horrible owner!! The servers are very understaffed, was not shown a menu or given water. And it took an hour to get a refill on water because the servers were no where to be found. I felt that the bigger table was given priority, and more of the server’s attentions were on them. In told spend around 3 hours, mostly just waiting. Food was good however the rice was served last, therefore the more salty side dishes...

This place serves "set dinner". All the dishes are place on a wood table top. The staff than brings the table top over to our dinning table, and slides it on top of it. Most of the food are served cold. While they all taste good, I prefer all dishes are served hot. That said, I also enjoy the various types of Korean food at the same time All in all, it is a different , yet pleasant, experience to have Korean food this way
