Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams — Restaurant in Los Angeles

BAD SERVICE REVIEW!! I didn't get to try the ice cream so I can't review that. I came to this location Thursday night 6/2. I ran from across the mall to get here. I arrived about 8:55 and the lady did not let me get in line. I asked if she could serve me a scoop of ice cream (it's not like she had to cook anything) and she said no unfortunately we are servicing these last few customers and then we will close the register.

A couple minutes later my friends came in (who also wanted to purchase ice cream - who also were denied service) and said hey what time do you close. Another lady said and 9. My friend said it's not 9pm yet you are supposed to take our service.

At the moment a heavily pregnant lady came waddling in (she had to be at least 8 months pregnant) said she would give a $20 tip if they served her ice cream. The 2 ladies behind the counter REFUSE to serve her ice cream. I mean thats just horrible to deny a pregnant lady food.

There was a flood of people who came in right before 9pm. I believe the company would have made and extra $100 in those 5 minutes alone. But because these employees the customers let angry. A lot of people were upset. You can tell people were running over to get this ice cream.

One of the employees then went on to tell us that we could go to the location on Venice because it was open late.

Corporate office please do yourself a favor and check this employees who are providing bad business for...

Amazing ice creams!!!

I was walking by after dinner and saw some people who were eating ice creams and feel like it is what I need right now, I looked for ice cream shops nearby and found Jeni’s. It was a really good ice cream shop. They have a wide variety of flavors, and I got one scoop of Strawberry Pretzel Pie and one scoop of Texas Sheet Cake. Both were absolutely delicious but I like strawberry more - the second one was a little bit sugary for me. The flavor in both was rich and creamy, and it felt very fresh, so it tasted really good. I really enjoyed it.

I ordered ice cream in a waffle cone, and the portion was pretty generous, bigger than I expected. The waffle was pretty good, not dry but crispy. The prices are reasonable for that amount of ice cream.

The place itself is nice inside, looks like regular ice cream spot. There are no tables inside but you can find some on the street. The staff was friendly and helpful, she told me about different flavors and let me sample.

Overall, I would definitely recommend checking this place out. The ice cream is amazing, I really enjoyed it, and I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying...

This ice cream is eye rolling good. So rich and creamy. No weird chemically aftertaste. And and what unique flavors!! At 1st I was concerned because at a place like coldstone creamery you can choose your own adventure. But I had the gooey yellow cake (I think thats what it's called) ice cream in a waffle cone and both were insanely good. The waffle cone is a little thicker texture and doesn't have that burnt taste that this often get often.

RE THIS LOCATION: I walked in circles for 10 minutes before I found this place. It is inside the "Free market". I don't live in the area but quickly figured out that it's a little boutique area with a couple of stores and restaurants. Even a bar….. so if you are from the area when you park you'll look for free market. Once you get in there just keep walking...
