First time at PV House, and overall, it was a great experience. The atmosphere is lively with an energetic, trendy vibe and exactly what you'd hope for in a new sports bar. One of the standout features is the abundance of TVs strategically placed throughout the space, so no matter where you sit, you won’t miss a second of the game. It’s clear PV House is gearing up to be a prime spot for football season.
The staff was attentive and genuinely friendly, which added to the positive vibe of the evening.
As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed bag. We tried the Sea Bass Poke and the Ground Beef Nachos. The Sea Bass Poke was flavorful with a nice balance, very fresh and satisfying. The nachos, however, were underwhelming. While the top layer was loaded with toppings and flavor, everything underneath was plain.
We also sampled a couple of drinks. I had the Playa Side, which was light and refreshing with just a subtle kick of liquor. Perfect for sipping while watching the Dodgers game with the warm breeze. My friend had the Pear Infusion and absolutely loved it, describing it as sweet and amazing.
All in all, PV House is a great addition to the PV scene. It's stylish, social, and well-suited for sports fans. With a few tweaks to the food, especially consistency in dishes like the nachos, it could easily become...
Read moreWhile service was good and plenty of different sports were playing on the TVs, the food was the worst I’ve had in a long time. Dennys and iHop are better and I don’t eat there because the quality is poor, but at least it tastes good.
Here, I ordered the Playa Breakfast — 2 eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast. While it did come served in a small cast iron dish, the hash browns were definitely frozen and horrible. The bacon didn’t even taste like real bacon. It was tough and hard and really bad lol. Even the 2 eggs were hard to eat and I love eggs. How a restaurant gets such a basic dish wrong is hard to comprehend.
My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and he said it tasted bland with low quality ingredients. The salsa looked like it came from a can.
The worst place to eat in Playa Vista. I hate to say it. This is the 3rd restaurant I’ve seen occupy this space and based on today, I don’t see how they can survive without making a change. I...
Read moreI had 3 servers ask if they could get me anything. I asked for a glass of water and for a minute to look at the menu. 1st time visitor. No one returned for about 5 minutes I arm waved a bartender over and ordered Chinese chicken salad. The salad came about 15 minutes later. You have to search for the chicken but the flavor was good! My friend showed up and waited 10 minutes no one waited on him, so he walked to the end if the bar and got a drink. We had to flag down everytime we wanted something more. After 2 hours we asked for our checks. When the Checks came they were both wrong. So 10 minutes later the guy came back with the correct ones. He finally grinned as he dropped them off a first! Not a good 1st impression 😕 I did meet 2 lovely ladies one had a playful puppy si that was nice! Parking is difficult so I parked in the facilities parking lot $12. Advice park on the street even if you have to...
