My experience working with Joliet for a recent 50-person dinner event was absolutely stellar. From start to finish, the planning process was incredibly easy and stress-free.

First off, the venue itself is simply beautiful. Located inside Free Market at Runway Playa Vista, it offers a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere that was perfect for our group. Beyond the aesthetics, the owners are truly amazing. They were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our event a success, including building a menu from scratch to fully meet our event needs. Their passion for what they do shines through in every interaction.

When it came to the evening's offerings, Joliet truly delivered! The dinner food was incredibly yummy, with a diverse and delicious menu that catered to various tastes and dietary needs. Our group raved about the quality and presentation of every dish. The open bar was also a huge hit, with a fantastic selection of cocktails and beverages that kept everyone in great spirits throughout the evening.

Finally, the day-of logistics were flawlessly executed. The team at Joliet handled every detail with professionalism and efficiency, from the dinner service flow to ensuring the bar ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy the event without a single worry.

I highly recommend Joliet to anyone planning a dinner event, big or small. Their stunning venue, amazing owners, easy planning process, delicious dinner and open bar, and impeccable day-of execution make them a top-tier choice for any occasion. We will absolutely be back for future events!

Thank you Alex and Olivia! You make such a positive impact on the Playa Vista community and the people who dine at...

Joliet is, without a doubt, the best spot in LA for whatever it is you're looking for. My boyfriend and I are absolutely obsessed with it - there is something for everyone.

By day, it is the cutest spot for coffee, tea, a dirty chai, a pastry, and/or a sandwich. I recommend bringing your laptop or a book and staying a while, striking up a conversation with Alejandro or Olivia at the bar, and trying one or several of their fantastic options. You TRULY cannot go wrong. I had a pistachio croissant that absolutely changed my life. The egg sandwich made my jaw drop.

Come nighttime, Joliet is a sexy speakeasy that boasts outstanding cocktails, great music, date-night ambience, and a whole different menu of mouthwatering options. My boyfriend loves the lobster roll, and I am obsessed with the mezze platter. The espresso martini is elevated and vibrant, and the spicy marg was better than imagined.

Alejandro's attention to detail is incredibly extraordinary - he adds a special touch to everything he does, whether it's shaving an extra layer of cheese on your sandwich, or adding a cute little flower to your cocktail, or just taking the time to get to know you, it's really such a...

The atmosphere of this place is really cool. Loved that the best. I think the food is overpriced. The drinks were really good, but the food reminds me of bar food but with restaurant prices. I think for what you get and the quality I expected better. I was happy to come here and try it out, but honestly I don't think we will be returning. They only had two staff working the bar and floor. It's not a big place but it was weird to receive our appetizer after our entrees were served. The food was fairly oily. We got the lobster Mac and cheese and it was very very oily. The pastrami sandwich was good, but not worth $18. The crab artichoke dip tastes good, but the bread served with it was hard like a rock and almost like croutons. Not nearly enough provided to eat all the dip either so we had to take that home so we can dip something else in it. Personally if it were $5 cheaper per dish I would come back but 2 people and a $120 bill for 2 cocktails, one appetizer, and two dishes is a bit absurd for...

Super cute place to grab coffee during the day time or an exceptional drink at night. Their drink bar area is not open during the day, but they have plenty of seating areas around their coffee bar. It’s a great place to meet up with friends and catch up over coffee and pastries. Their espresso is strong! I felt a nice buzz after my horchata latte. Parking is very Playa Vista. Most people who visit live in the area and walk up. There is a parking lot across the street, I always find parking in their nearby neighborhood. What makes Joliet special is not only their delicious offerings and vacation vibes, but they are community oriented. Check out their schedule posted near the bar to see what salsa classes are being offered when the next comedy show is happening.
