K's Donut Emporium — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Well, the reason why I tried this place was because of all the positive feed backs. To all new readers, this place has nothing special and is not different from any other donuts shop. Every donuts shop we go to had copied the recipes from Winchell's donuts. Winchell's donuts are still the number one donuts across the USA but the reason why many switched from Winchell's was because many, not all, Winchell's are using cheap oil for frying the donuts. There are some states where Winchell's donuts hold top standards and the flavors are so good that you might want to move into that town. Whoever these people are with positive feed backs for K donuts need to do some traveling. I tried each and every one of their round donuts yesterday and today and the only one thing that was good is that the donuts do not have a fried that heavy fried smell. Other then that nothing was special for either the smell, taste, texture, flavors - nothing! The place is very clean and neat, I'll tell you that! OMG! Yesterday as I was scrolling on my Instagram page I ran into videos of fruity pebble donuts. So I thought to myself "this would be good to buy for a Friday morning to bring to work." I googled Fruity Pebble donuts in Sherman Oaks (since that's the city I work in). K's Donut Emporium was the first place that popped up and right away it called my attention. After reading the reviews I was sold. I got there at 7:15 there were about 4-5 customers standing in front of me (only two ladies working in the shop). They attended the customers in front of me very quick. I waited no more than 2-3 minutes. My choice of donuts were the Oreo, and Fruity Pebbles. And the rest I just asked her to give me most popular mixed (1dz). I also got the ham, cheese and jalapeño croissant. Let me just say I had half of the croissant, half of the fruity pebble donut and like 3/4 of the oreo. Everything was AMAZING!!! I highly recommend this place. On top of everything being good and speedy service. The customer service was EXCELLENT! Both ladies were nice, bubbly. Simply AWESOME! This will definitely be my GO TO place...

Absolutely the best Donut Shop I've been to in Los Angeles so far. FRESH. NOT OVERLY SUGARED. ONE OF A KIND OPTIONS. KIND AND FRIENDLY SERVICE. I absolutely would come here more often if I lived closer. Actually, I'm lucky enough to have a truck route while working that puts me in this nice neighborhood. I work graveyards and I'm so thankful for places like this that open really early... OPEN @ 4/430am. The coffee is not the best of LA but who am I kidding, I rarely desire coffee and am no pro. The coffee though is really decent and the choices are similar to (but so much BETTER) those at 7-Eleven. I love these donuts so much that I ordered a couple dozen for a holiday event at my family's, who live way up in Northern California! My family devoured them.
