i live next to this location! for my family and me is very nice came here almost 4 times a week! But this time was the last i think!!! i went today and buy 3 different ice cream flavor!! one of them "Mamey" to be exact!! the ice cream was really bad! taste like it was expired already!! 3 of uss try it! and was really bad! i go inside again! and ask to the "lady" with glasses!! excuse me? can i change this ice cream? she said: Idk let me ask the owner? i was waiting for her answer! The other guy ask what happen! because he know us! we always go there to buy! i told him and he try the mamey ice cream and yessss!! The ice cream was and a really bad condition!! he went to the "lady" and she came with me very rude!!! he say This time i going to give you the $$ but next time i don't going to give you nothing??? excuse me?? Giving one star because the guy working there claimed not to have chicharron preparado. I asked him if we could do a bag of wheel chicharorrones instead as a chicharron preparado. He seemed annoyed but went ahead and did so. About a minute later, I'm looking down and realized there were the big chicharrones right there. He was just hoping I wouldn't want anything he actually had to prepare. My daughter then wanted a crepe he said he didn't have the stuff to make that either. Looking at the counter, u can see the bottle with the batter they use for the crepes. We were the only ones there so I assume he was just being lazy. I just left your location (15705 1/2 Vanowen St, Van Nuys, CA 9140) on August 8th 2021 and I had a poor experience with the female employee working there at 9:30pm. (She was a blonde rooted girl with acrylic nails on) She did not acknowledge me when I walked in. The boy working with her did my order while she was talking to her mom instead of charging me. When I went up to her so she can charge me she gave me a snarky look as if they were closed (when they close at 10pm) and started to count the till. After she restarted her register so she could charge me she proceeded to take free ice cream, agua fresca and chips for her and her family without paying. Very poor service.
