ordered the loaded fries, got free chips which was nice! took a little bit for food to come out, i ordered at the counter but was told i pay at the end so guess i got to go back up to the counter bc there’s no waitstaff. food was good though and plate size is fair. note: this is called monarca mexican restaurant on apple maps which i think is the actual name.

Came in for a quick lunch after peeping the photos on Google maps. Was pleasantly surprised to see a new sign out front and recent remodeling inside. In the modern interior they still serve the traditional food with a punch 💯 had the red chilaquiles with egg and it was excellent 🔥

The place is called Monarca and not Mexicana. Maybe they renamed the place? Owners were super nice, checking in on us and asking about our food. Food was delicious and refreshing. Their horchata was amazing, not overly sweet and their large washugeee

Authenticity at its finest. If you’re looking for luxury modern Mexican food. Go to your wannabe locations. This is a hidden gem owned by a family. The owner is the greeter who takes your order and will even serve you your food. His wife is in the back cooking and making sure everything is to par. The owner was so sweet I felt like I was visiting my family back home. I ordered the huevos rancheros and a caldo de pollo for my daughter. I’m a picky eater when it comes to Mexican food but this place sold me. You know you have a great cook when they don’t use consume de pollo. The caldo tasted organic. This place is a hidden Gem!!! I picked up food from there for the first time today and I WILL BE BACK! The food is FABULOUS!!! Absolute explosion of flavors! Sergio was the sweetest and super attentive. Amazing service! THIS IS THE BEST GUACAMOLE IN TOWN… and I am a guac snob! The tacos.. the sope…FANTASTIC! I have worked in the restaurant industry my entire life and this mexican food is one of the best I have ever eaten. I have been going to Monarca Restaurant for months now. I like the friendly warm welcome we get.
