Taco Bell — Restaurant in Los Angeles

My girlfriend and I went in at about 8 pm, there was a long line so we just ordered on those tablets they have on the walls and waited for our name. When our name was called, I went up and got our food, a different order was called for another customer. Someone from the food line handed it too me instead of the cashier that was on the register, the food line worker was double checking the name and food for that customer, obviously so the order isn't wrong. The customer asked why she wasnt given the food right away, the cashier with the name Ebony N, a short, chunky with pale skin and looks look a teenager said "Their all Mexican, they don't speak English well so when you talk to them they just stare and act stupid".

I literally looked to the customer and said "They are double checking if it's your name and ofder, so it's not wrong."

I stopped by this Taco Bell location because it was near the Quiznos we went to. The drive thru was busy, probably due to them locking the door because of covid so everyone has to stick to drive thru. I just came to this location to try the new Dragonfruit freeze since I haven't tried it yet. I usually stick to the Baja Blast Freeze which is so good but I wanted to hear what the hype was all about. Unfortunately I did not like the Dragonfruit Freeze, it was too sweet for me. The drive thru is kind of weird because there a curve that's different from other taco bell, so you have to be careful to not scratch your rims. The staff was friendly, fast, wore mask and gloves so during this covid time it's a good thing to see. I'm pretty sure during lunch time this place probably get busy and when you exit, its on a major street Sherman Way so you might get stuck if you exit that way. Well the only thing tonight I really didn't care for is the fact I purchased $5 box meal. I finally got to the window and she says $5,48. That's fine so I give her $5.50. Now I give her the money but I get no receipt or 2cents hmmm I think. So now she gives me my order and I'm about to go but I have to ask...excuse me but what about the 2cents. Her response is she is out of pennies. Ok well u need to find them ...without my saying she walks away and within a min is back with 2cents. Understand it was the principal. If I wanna pay it forward for a homeless person or someone short of a few cents . Do not assume because u are out of pennies u don't say anything. She coulda been pocketing the amount she made.
