My husband and I went here for the first time and we told them it was our first time( translate; be patient, let us check out the menu and maybe answer questions regarding the menu). The young lady at the counter was pleasant and the older gentleman there was pleasant(opened the door for us, greeted us with a smile). I found it strange that a burger joint did not have a burger combo or burger special of any kind. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, two chili dogs and an order of fries. The chili dogs were 6.40 each, for that I got a weiner, bun and chili, I had to beg for onions, I wanted mustard and relish on the dog, they have me little packets... The hamburger was meh... The fries were 3.60 and it was the smallest order of fries I have ever seen. The problem was the cooks attitude.. He did not want to prepare the food the way I wanted it... the issue with the onions was silly and even though he put them on, he went overboard with it. Photos included. I will not return, I thought the good was a bit overpriced and did not like the cooks attitude.

Larry's has been a staple since I was young. You've gotta try the Larry's (it's a burger) the staff remains the same, so you can be sure their food is consistent.

Food is delicious. My babies loved the food. We ordered the shrimp platter, onion rings, fries, chicken quesadilla with fruit punches. All are delicious 😁

Whole family loves Larry's Burgers! This is a fabulous local favorite if you know what to order. The burgers here are the best in the area.

Most of the items I've had here are more generous and wholesome than typical fast food joints. At most big chain fast food joints the food leave me feeling achy and lethargic. The burgers and sides here seem like healthier products because I feel fine after I eat here. My family has been coming here for over 10 years. I've had some menu items in the past that didn't please me as much as others so, I'll share my faves with you in case you want to try them on your first visit.

The Double Larry's Burger is my usual order. It has the very best of everything to love in a burger including bacon, avocado and , tasty meat patties. Also great are the Hawaiian burger (my daughter's fave), Patty melt, and the Chicken strip meal which comes with fries and a salad.

The Colossal burger, San Francisco burger, Club sandwich and Fish burger are also good picks when in the mood.

The ranch dressing here is the best, best, best. It's good on almost everything.

For sides the french fries are basic steak size fries and are okay (I usually prefer skinnier, saltier fries) but I do order these about half the time. The onion rings are the tempura style which I don't like (too greasy for me and most of the breading falls off) so I stay away from them. The fried zuccini are crumb breaded and absolutely DELISH! (especially in the ranch)

I'd recommend a first timer try the Double Larry's Burger with a side of Zucchini sticks and a couple pots of the ranch dressing.

They will do lettuce wrapped versions of their sandwiches if you ask. This is a nice thing for families with someone who has to stick to keto/paleo food.

Larry often works in the restaurant and has been very nice when we've chatted with him. The rest of the staff have always been nice too.

Only way into the parking lot is on...

This is a great hamburger joint, I found this little hamburger joint on my way to drop off my 1986 Yamaha Maxum for service at Century motorcycles. After talking to the owners I discovered that Larry's hamburgers has been in operation for 30 years, man! that's a long time cooking hamburgers but I'm telling you right now this is a great old fashioned hamburger joint. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger fries and a large Diet Coke asked that the burger be cooked well done and it was cooked to perfection the French fries were perfect, crispy but not overdone and it was just a great meal, the burger was so huge. I'm not kidding you it was all fashioned huge, Now I realize these days with inflation and prices Going up it seems that restaurants are giving smaller portions of food and charging more money. Well there is an exception to that rule and that exception is at Larry's hamburgers I'm telling you right now as a person who is on a very tight budget, Larry's hamburgers is good value for the money, I mean you get real fresh food And good large portions, this is an absolute good value for your hard-earned dollars. Granted it's in San Pedro which is a pretty good distance from my house in Orange County but whenever I go back to pick up my 86 Yamaha Maxum I'm definitely gonna stop at Larry's hamburgers and grab myself another burger. I would be wasting a Good opportunity not to do so. So if you're in the area definitely stop by and if you gotta drive a little ways to get here trust me it'll be worth it and you are going to enjoy a great burger. It's right on the corner it has a drive thru which makes it easy to get in and out, (no pun intended 😂) enjoy tell them "Smokey Fred"...

OK OK OK, I have got to say this loud and proud this Larry's hamburger joint is a old-fashioned great Burger joint I mean a really great Burger joint. Talking to the owners they say they've been in business for 30 years and I completely believe it The food is fantastic. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a large Diet Coke Now these days with inflation it seems restaurants are given you smaller portions and are raising the prices at the same time. However I'm here to say that Larry's hamburgers in San Pedro is an absolute great value meal for your money, kinda place. I mean the Burger was huge huge I can't say it enough it was frigging huge... And the fries were delicious cooked perfectly and you can't go wrong with that Coke, I asked for Well done, and the Burger was Grilled perfectly, it has to be one of the best burgers I've eaten in quite a while, granted it's in San Pedro which is quite a distance from the City of Orange but I was in the area because I was dropping off my 1986 yamaha maxim motorcycle at century motorcycles down on Pacific street. So if you're in the area or if you just are willing to drive a little bit of distance for a really great burger Larry's hamburgers is the place you want to go trust me it's...
